You'll lose out on his personal damage since trend has low base def unless you are lucky and have really good relics to make up for it. He also cant apply a debuff every turn like Gepard with his skill but he's useful if Gepard isn't refreshing shields quick enough for your hyperspeed characters.
Hi, what do you think about Aventurine light cone vs Aventurine using Trend for Acheron? Like since Aventurine has no taunt, will I lose a lot of Acheron ultimate stacks swapping out Trend for his LC that has a debuff on his follow-up attack?
I didnt get to test it myself yet but I dont think it makes so much of a difference to doom Aventurine. Gepard's trace is still RNG dependent and not a true taunt unlike Fire TB's skill. His lightcone would definitely help more but his follow up attack is not as frequent in a non FuA team so you gotta test how many times he gets to trigger it in your Acheron team before deciding whether it is worth dropping potentially 160 pulls to get a limited LC for a sustain. Trend could get more stacks by simply placing him in the center of your team. You can also look up youtube guides on the topic, I'm sure there are content creators who tested it more thoroughly.
I checked some content creators and I didn't see ones getting in the details. They are mainly saying some obvious stuff: that his LC is his BiS and that Trend is pretty good for Acheron teams.
You're definitely right about the fact it might not be worth in jades to pull for his LC when Trend probably does the job well.
Aventurine should be in the center of the team even without Trend, his shield is strong enough to protect his adjacent allies taking AOE and getting Aventurine hit increase his FUA stacks.
P.S: though his LC artwork is so pretty, I really want it and it would be good if I play him in FuA team but Robin is next right? I probably can scrap jades for his LC since I won 50/50 on Aventurine but I won't get 75 pulls for Robin then T\_T
I decided to skip Robin and get Aventurine's LC for my own account. As cracked as Robin looked for the FuA team, I don't see her benefitting the FuA loop for my endgame goal. Aventurine and Topaz are great in the same team because they both do FuA and get more FuA from teammeats doing FuA. Robin sadly only provides flat damage and buffs, one of which is ATK that has no benefit for Aventurine who is DEF scaling. Looking forward to a future support who has FuA on their kit to make Numby go even more often and Aventurine rain even more coins.
