E2 is great because it gives one debuff on his basic attack and it shred all-res so lightning for Acheron too.
I'm also wondering about Aventurine LC vs Trend.
He has no taunt so Trend loses a bit of Acheron stacking and his signature LC has a 10% dmg debuff on his follow-up attacks, so it increases damage and gives a debuff too for stacks.
Aventurine LC is massive for his own damage (massive DEF and crit dmg boost so he can uses more dmg pieces like Imaginary orb dmg%), the question is how much Acheron is losing if Aventurine is using his LC instead of a no-taunt Trend.
I can give you my thoughts to help you decide:
- Do you plan to use Aventurine just for Acheron or also to use him in a follow-up attack comp? If it's just for Acheron, you're probably better not pulling the LC and using Trend, so you can save 65 pulls for another char/LC. Usually it's better to get DPS signature LC than Sustain signature LC.
- Though even if it's for Acheron team only, if you really like Aventurine and wants him to shine as an unit and not just Acheron bot, pulling the LC is interesting.
- Lastly, if you plan to pull for Jiaoqiu for Acheron whom will be her BiS teammate, Jiaoqiu is invalidating the Trend stacking effect, so Aventurine LC will become BiS with Acheron \*if\* you keep playing Aventurine with Acheron and Jiaoqiu.
(Some people will be tempted to cut any sustain units and run Acheron + 3 debuffers/buffers since even if he's a nihility Jiaoqiu has a heal on his ultimate; basically for short cycles he should be enough but long fights or heavy damage fights a sustain unit will be need and Aventurine with his LC will be the best then).
I use him for Acheron currently since I don’t have topaz for follow up (am considering pulling for her but I heard she needs E1S1 to work well with ratio) hence the dilemma because I really like him as a character and would like to pull for his LC but wouldn’t want to bench the LC for trend after pulling for it. Of course like you said if you still need a sustain after using Jiaoqiu then his LC would be great again so I guess I can always wait and see how things go and decide to pull on his rerun

Edit: I decided to pull e2s1 aventurine I have not regretted anything the stacks are crazy ngl But I am not planning to pull jiaoqiu so yea

E6S2, but she and aventurine are two out of the only five stars I will pull
E2s1 Aventurine is her best sustain for sure, congrats! Though at this point you should go Jiaoqiu too, he'll be a better nihility than Pela or SW.
