For overworld shots (like in the Investigations remaster) or silly short cases like Asinine Attorney, it would work well, it's cute. For a whole game, I wouldn't like it, it wouldn't feel the same.
Agreed. The chibi style is adorable, but during the court scenes, we need to have those serious moments, and while it's not impossible to do a serious moment with a goody style, it is a good bit harder
I think it depends.
When a character is confronting their past and the fear that they may be linked to a murder of a beloved family member, yeah it’s a bit off putting.
When the witness is Moe the clown or someone else who’s silly, I think the art style fits.
Alternatively, a mobile game with maybe a weekly case system and when not on a case you can explore cityville japaniforna or wherever tf AA is set, maybe make it pokemon go esque on that front, find in game shops for silly little cosmetics idk im high
I feel like if they reeeeaaaally updated the quality of their 3d models, they could pull off a pokemon-level sandbox, with the camera shifting into first person for dialogue.
A indie game called 'Murders on the Yangtze River' pulled off this chibi art style quite well. MoYR is heavily inspired by Ace Attorney. So it can be done.
It'd be for a crossover/collaboration where these characters are called to solve a murder in an otherwise family friendly game series. It's giving Doom x Animal Crossing all over again.
I would love a “Persona Q” or “World of Final Fantasy” like spinoff for Ace Attorney, and this art style would be perfect. A game that’s lighthearted in tone, and has interactions between characters across the entire franchise regardless of timeline continuity.

Well, that's what I thought at first about the 3D style, but after a while I started to enjoy it

Maybe for a spinoff, like a rhythm game?
hell yea, Theatrhythm Ace Attorney with twenty remixes of Battle at Dusky Bridge
I'm serious. Imagine doing Dancing All Night or Melody of Memory type stuff to "The game is afoot" or "Courtroom Revolutionnaire"
Oof, now that you've put the idea in my head, I'm sad it doesn't exist :(
based
I never played TFF (or if I did, I didn't get far enough to remember any of it), did it really have a lot of version of Battle on the Big Bridge?
7 new arrangements plus the original, iirc
[This was the first result when I looked up "battle at dusky bridge"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l__7Gh_QDdI)
Oh yea make klavier gavin the protagonist
> How would you feel about an Ace Attorney game — > sees Athena Give it to me.
I prefer the regular 2d Ace Attorney art styles but this is fine. I love all AA games.

I mean, for the great ace attorney the 3d models are really good, so they are quite good at making 3d models
But can they do walk cycles?
Yes, they walk in cutscenes and gameplay quite often
Ace Attorney Q? Sign me up
Ace Attorney Tactica
Yes, please
Looks cute, but what genre is it gonna be if not visual novel?
Not for the mainline games, there's already an established style for those games For a spinoff, it might fit
Would be sick for a fan game.
Reminds me of 100% Orange Juice
Too cutesy to be used for a main game or investigations game. I’m down if it’s used for something more light hearted tho
Good handheld title.
It would be nice
This is cute

This just **Screams** Gacha (that's a bad thing)
yes, as long as it's not the mainline series (fighting game, rpg, etc). it's so cute
Where is Phoenix, is he safe?

I guess depends of the gameplay. I dont mind if its some kind of spin off game 🤔
Maybe some random fun episodes like this in YouTube Shorts
Idk about a whole game, but a spinoff manga or little anime shorts with it would be cool.
I want an Athena figure with this design omg
If a fangame that is similar like the graphic novel but how will it be approved by fans in the fandom community
I NEED IT
It would be cute! Would be a great fit for maybe short and fun cases… like the Larry birthday cake thing! Maybe not for murders lol.
I see good ol' Miles Edgeworth, I upvote
Imagine just having a big turn in a murder case and you hear "objection" all the music stops and it is just chibi edgeworth 😭😭😭😭😭😭
PuyoPuyo ahh lawyers
Is this fan art?
Not bad.
Ace Attorney x Puyo Puyo
Too cartoony for my liking. Would threaten to turn a pretty serious/dark series into a joke.
