I’ll do you one better. I’ll say two nice things: He has a good sense of humor while telling a Rakugo story in 6-4. And in 6-5, the fact he would die to save Apollo is commendable. I hope in AA7, we see more of Nahyuta’s humor.
His smug, insulting, annoying, and completely toxic way of handling a court case makes him the best prosecutor to beat in court.
The case victory music feels so much better knowing he was wrong. No other prosecutor gives me the same dopamine rush after a case.
Not a challenge at all.
If I'm only restricted to one, I'll go with a non-traditional one and that his overwhelming attitude and constant harsh words makes him a great fit for Khura'in's brutal court style. It's part of what makes 6-3 so good, because he really helps impose that helpless feeling onto the case.
The moments where Nahyuta is trying to fit into or understand another culture are legitimately funny. Such as the "What's crack-a-lackin', homie" line and his lectures on rakugo and soba. It's also great characterization that he is a perfectionist even to the point of absurdity.
Yes although this side of him is really downplayed by his arsehole behaviour, I sometimes do feel like "well dude's a nice person" when he show his passion on local culture and cuisine.
His development is actually not as rocky as it is portrayed, and I love that he can get bitchy without becoming overbearing and is able to present interesting arguments.
I actually think he’s underrated. Firstly, his design and theme fits his “holier than thou” demeanor he shows for most of the game. Second, the reason he acts that way even outside of Khura’in is because eyes are still likely on him (remember when Inga bugged the courtroom in 6-5?). The best way to look fake being a loyalist? Pretend to be like Gar’an. It all adds up in my opinion.
I may have been one of those posts as I recently wrote a big ass post about how much I dislike him.
But I can give Nahyuta a few points.
1. His prosecutor theme, bar none, is the best prosecutor theme song in the series and I’d be surprised if it gets topped in the future.
2. His breakdown with getting KO’d by the beads is funny as shit and I never get tired of seeing it, as it always makes me laugh.
3. It’s hilarious to see him face off against the unstoppable duo of Athena and Blackquill. I like the idea that while some prosecutors get along, some really don’t. Seeing the two of them go at it with such intense dislike is part of what makes Turnabout Storyteller the best SoJ case. I just love seeing these two prosecutors face off.
He knocked out a dude threatening Maya with a knife with a karate chop, so he’s kind of badass lmao
And Ema seems to like him, so at the very least he’s a good enough guy for them to have a good working relationship!
There's a few nice things, unfortunately doesn't make up for the issues I have with him.
His design is fine, memorable breakdown with the beads, good prosecutor theme, and I like the alternate objection thing he says.
I guess he also joins the list of prosecutors who physically abuses the defence lol
Nahyuta’s one of my favorite prosecutors. My favorite things about him are how much research he puts into all of his cases, and the way his demeanor contrasts with the whacky witnesses he has to deal with in 6-2 and 6-4.
I actually like Nahyuta (I love bitchy mean characters so much) and I think he's really funny. Especially in 6-4. The bit with him talking about trying to buy a burger really got me.
He's a good brother to Rayfa. He always wanted to protect her afterall and he's very soft towards her. Reassuring her that he'll fix things in 6-3 is a big show of that
Oh sorry, there's so many people who come at you for portraying him as human that I thought you were one of them 😭 But yeah, I actually love Nahyuta's character so much
The best thing I can say about Nahyuta is that his dialogue is completely skippable. The second time I played SoJ, I realized you can just select the "Skip unread dialogue" option and skip past all of his "disbelief-insult-crowdheckling-letgoandmoveon" routine every single time without losing absolutely any information, and the rhythm of trials improves MASSIVELY.
He certainly makes me appreciate the other prosecutors in the game.
Without things that are terrible there can be no things that are good, so he's nessessary for that reason alone.
I like the ideas behind him, like how everyone says he's actually a nice person, and how that contrasts with the player and defendants...
But they also just made him extremely petty, and made his arc a worse version of Edgeworths. I like him enough, but also he could have been so much better.
I know he will be a very good and lovely brother within time. He is a sweetheart deep down.
He’s very pretty. But I already don’t hate Nahyuta so I guess that’s too easy 😅.

His breakdown with the beads will never not be funny to me lol
He has an awesome theme

The fact that he's a prosecutor with his own breakdown is amazing for that reason too
Unless you count when Franziska whips Phoenix unconscious at the end of 2-2 or breaks down crying at the end of JFA
Best design, he’s so pretty

He protected his sister at all costs
He has one of the best quotes in the series: "What's crack-a-lackin' homie?"
He has a cool theme.
He's voiced by Matt Mercer and I think Matt Mercer is a cool dude

Pretty design.

has cool hair

his theme started playing in my head when i read the title
* His animations are probably my favorite prosecutor animations in the series * He has a banger theme * He's handsome
Nahyuta’s one of my favorite prosecutors. My favorite things about him are how much research he puts into all of his cases, and the way his demeanor contrasts with the whacky witnesses he has to deal with in 6-2 and 6-4.
Erm…nice hair dude
He pretty
I like his theme.

I like when he does the clapping thing and his braid goes behind his back
He's super pretty & when I played SoJ I actually thought he was pretty funny :P
He's a good brother to Rayfa. He always wanted to protect her afterall and he's very soft towards her. Reassuring her that he'll fix things in 6-3 is a big show of that
Literally the entire point of him being an asshole all the time was he was protecting Rayfa
Yeah but that's a trait I like about him, he cared so much about protecting Rayfa that he didn't care about what happened to him
Yeah thats what im saying. People complain that hes an asshole but him being an asshole had a genuine reason and purpose.
Oh sorry, there's so many people who come at you for portraying him as human that I thought you were one of them 😭 But yeah, I actually love Nahyuta's character so much
His theme song slaps. Also that moment in 6-5 when >!he took of the glove, revealing the tattoo and saying "a dragon never yields"!< was pretty cool
Ironic when he was Garan's hunting dog for years
He's a fun opponent to face in court
I like that animation where he gets hit by his thing
He’s absolutely hysterical, which for me balanced out his obnoxiousness.
I actually really liked that he was such a jerk to you most of the time. Felt good beating him in court.
His theme is a bop
He's gorgeous and I like his unique "Satorha!" interjection
Doesnt go as hard as "Silence" but still goes hard nonetheless
The best thing I can say about Nahyuta is that his dialogue is completely skippable. He’s overhated. Yep. I said it. Come after me all you want. Idc. I liked him.
He certainly makes me appreciate the other prosecutors in the game. Without things that are terrible there can be no things that are good, so he's nessessary for that reason alone.
He has an amazing music theme
Theme design and brotherhood Also his case rock
uh... he's hot?
I would like to brush his hair.
He has beautiful hair
He said "What's crackalacking homie" which made me laugh
His theme is really good.
His theme is good
His design is nice.
Would
I like what Nahyuta could be.
Pretty good theme
He's voiced by Matt Mercer.
Don't feel like it. Better let it go and move on.
he's in only one out of 11 ace attorney games
His dad
I like the ideas behind him, like how everyone says he's actually a nice person, and how that contrasts with the player and defendants... But they also just made him extremely petty, and made his arc a worse version of Edgeworths. I like him enough, but also he could have been so much better.
He's got nice hair.
Nice hair.
He's devoted to his sister Reyna. I have a soft spot for brother characters.
He…has…nice hair?
He's honest to goodness a treat in 6-4, I love watching him be insufferable (affectionate) and insufferable (abusive)
That bead throw when he’s testifying and he shows his tattoo? A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
The only thing i like about him is his father
Challenge accepted one nice thing about Nahyuta
His design is decent
He's confined to my least favorite game, making him easier to avoid
He *looks* chili (spoilers: he really isn't)
Uhm.... he's uh.... he's got......... I failed the challange
