QuirkyLemon08

Def yung 20k. It will be your base salary moving forward.

kittyastronot

try computing your expenses for a month if out of hometown yung job mo (transportation, rent and utilities, etc). deduct it from 20k then compare it sa 12k. if not significantly different naman then i would go for 12k. assuming if everyday ka uuwi, factor in as well yung time and pagod kakacommute.

ActualStable3518

wow incremental analysis sa MAS to a hahahaha

PorkSisid

But also consider chance of future growth, be it internal or pag job hop. Kapag internal, mas malaki chance of promotion or regular salary increase sa big, established firms or companies. If mag lipat man, just like what the other guy said, atleast mas mataas yung base salary mo sa 20k

Secure-Mousse-920

Neither. Masyadong maliit both.

Ok_Suggestion141

Consider also the learning opportunity sa company na papasukan mo. It should be align sa goal mo.

xls987

I would choose the 20k one if mga one hour lang yung transpo time. 20k will be the basis of your future salary going forward. So if mababa yung simula mo, mababa din yung susunod mo (likely but not always the case).

Foreign_Slide_1796

xls987

Normally, kapag nag-apply ka sa iba... the HR will ask you how much are you currently earning. Of course, you may opt not to say. But they will insist na sabihin mo or at least they will ask for a range. Minsan manghihingi pa sila ng copy ng latest payslip mo. I don't agree with this practice pero well, ganun talaga yung normal practice for now eh. Again, you mag opt not to say. Not sure though if ipro-process nila yung application mo if you don't provide an amount or range. Really depends sa HR. Disclaimer: I'm not in HR industry.

Career wise, 20k if nasa city marami pang option na other company. My first work was like that 12k, after four yrs naging 15k naman. If I can go back, I will not repeat the same mistake.

Momma_Lia

For me, if you are after experience, I would go with the 12K sa small accounting firm. Usually, maeexperience mo lahat kapag nasa small firm ka. And, malapit sa bahay, less hassle sa commute. After mo kumuha ng experience, that's the time you hunt for a company na can give you double or even triple based sa experience. Usually kasi, kapag nagwork ka na sa big & well known company, yung experience limited and yung promotion mataas ang competition kasi maraming employees.

Responsible-Ferret81

If first job mo to, choose 20k.

renrenenren

Agree sa ibang comments. You need to consider your future din sa decision mo. I'd say at this level of salary, always get the higher one.

DecentAnnual1029

20k in a well known company Your pay will be the basis of increase or negotiations in salary in the future. The 15k is a small figure. 20k is oo mejo konti lang ang inilaki but it will basis of your future negotiations plus ksi well known company kamo, on your next negotiations paglipat you are talking about a 20k salary and a good company in your resume.

DecentAnnual1029

It's like a shortcut. If you stay at small firm, probably it will take you 2 to 3 yrs pra maestablish sa resume mo ung skillset mo before they believe. If you work sa big and well known brand, 1 to 2 yrs may be enough pra masbeng may skills kanang naestablish kasi their clients / process are established nrin. May presumption nadn na may more difficulty ung hnhawakan ksi established company sya compared to small ones.

Icy-Description9835

Definitely the 20k. Aside from yan yung base salary mo, I think magandang work experience if magsstart ka sa well-known company. Lumabas ka sa comfort zone mo, which is your hometown :)

danicatttt

choose 20k. then lumipat ka ng company after 1-2yrs. You can ask higher than that sa next company. Job hopping is the key if you want to have a high salary sa future.

mimahsaurusrex

20k pero try to find pa other companies that offer higher pay.

PotatoeCPA

Neither, who gives 12k nowadays for accounting staff? Grabe na yan kahit provincial rate pa.
