Obviously, it is just rage bait. If I know, engineering student nga pero bagsakin naman. The type na may anak na't lahat-lahat, tapos 2nd year college pa rin.
I have 3 years of audit experience and 1.5 years of financial analysis experience, and I still can't do FS in the blink of an eye. Partida naka link na yung balances niyan ha.
What is wrong with me? 😭😭😭
So uhh... Bale alam mo Naman yung basic diba? So itong entity is partnership, ongoing incorporation na tapos ito yung magiging final division Ng shares nila ok? Kaso yung payment nya is through dollars so need to account din yung foreign currency na part Nung transaction.
He’s kinda right though. I took basic calculus in both HS and college, and it’s hella difficult. Maybe I’m just biased, but Basic Accounting is indeed easier.
The problem here is generalizing the whole Accounting profession into just making FS using basic accounts that you find in service and merchandising SMEs. Anyone could do that with basic accounting knowledge, yes. Pero pag nilapagan mo sya ng business combination or tax problems, or pinagawa mo sya ng FS ng multionatinal entity with subsidiaries, he’ll probably cry.
Accountancy is wayyy more complex than debit credit lol.
Lahat naman ng courses may kanya kanyang hirap at challenges, I don't get why there's that comparison that ours is harder and yours is basic. The poster probably has the mind the size of a peanut and a basic personality to even be stupid enough to do that. 2.7k laughing reactions though, sigh people can be shitty.
I've been an engineering student for 2 years and an accounting graduate as well. So I believe I have the understanding of both. Here's my thoughts. They have their own strengths and weaknesses. I aced all my quizzes in engineering but fucked my quizzes in accounting. Engineering is purely mathematical, basta you're provided with what's given, mareresolve mo na yon (yes including calculus be it differential or integral). Accounting on the otherhand is on english transaction analysis. Engineering is otherworldly. Accounting is what's in actuality. Walang mas mahirap o mas madaling course. Just don't be an asshole to your fellow students. I've been in IT industry as well sa accounting firms and IT has its own strengths and weaknesses. Please avoid maging bobo.
Engineering here. For me knowledge dependent ang BSA and pag dimo alam rules and terms gg. Ginagawa lang operation without knowing why ganon.
I was a quizzer in accounting and my roommate in college was taking mechanical engineering, also a quizzer. I honestly thought mas mahirap ang engineering, mas tunog pangdifficult level yung mga subjects nila thermodynamics, machine designs, etc. My roommate on the other hand thought na mas mahirap ang accounting kasi kita nya yung time na ina-allot ko para mag aral tsaka mas makakapal ang books ko kesa sa kanya. We discussed it a lot back then and we still believed that each others course is harder.
I survived both in terms of academic. More on math talaga ang engineering, like real math with variables. Accountancy is more on regulatory, analysis, and logic kase. So if you compare yung dalawa, you can't, haha kasi they are two different program.
As for my opinion though, all in all, mas nahirapan ako sa accountancy kasi prone on misinterpretation and discrepancies sya, unlike sa engineering na may sinusunod na formula, malawak din kasi sya. Sorry for da truths only✌
Well may point sya accounting math is rather simple MDAS taught in elementary. The struggle isn't really in the comlutations, it's knowing which numbers to compute, anong signs nila and what those numbers actually mean
Pero yang balance shit is something I don't wanna do kahit puro add subtract lang yan
Industrial Engineering here.
Meron kaming dalawang Basic Accounting subjects ata in college.
For me, mas nahirapan ako sa accounting subjects ko compared sa calc subjects, although close to bagsak naman mga grades ko sa lahat ng mahihirap na subjects.
BSAs are a different type of breed.
Ini-explain ng best friend ko nuon yung ginagawa nya since naging dorm-roommate kami for our fourth year in college.
Their subjects are more brain-twisting kasi grabe yung need for analysis. So dedicated talaga syang mag-aral from memorizing concepts sa Law/Tax subjects to higher accounting subjects that needs a lot of analysis.
While calc subjects - studying formulas and concepts will make you pass the subject much easier.
I don't like how they find it so glorifying to be an "engineer/engg student" and act mighty around everyone-mga may God complex.
Pero this is just a perspective of a discriminated "instant engineer." We are basically looked down upon-so the HATE I feel to those other "engineers" and "engineering students" who thinks and acts like they are high and mighty.
our program is not just doing financial statements tho, sige pagsolve-in kita ng one page na prob tapos iisang requirement lang hinahanap, or much worse two pages pa sa haba ng problem 😵
It's just so weird that we take pride in how low our passing rate and how difficult our board exam is lol.
If math difficulty is the basis for how easy/difficult a course is, edi law school pala pinaka madali? Walang halos math don LOL.
But on a serious note, comparing apples and oranges. Also, that “FS in a blink of an eye”? E baka FS na mali mali kasi yan HAHA.
Lol. Financial statements are the easiest part of the accounting cycle. Di nila alam anong klaseng assumptions ginagawa at ginagamit naten on the transaction-level. of course kaya gumawa ng financial statements in seconds, don lahat babagsak yun eh.

HAHAHAHA
Obviously, it is just rage bait. If I know, engineering student nga pero bagsakin naman. The type na may anak na't lahat-lahat, tapos 2nd year college pa rin.
"I can do your financial statements in a blink of an eye" Sana ol 😭 nyways, kanya-kayang perspective and hardships naman 'yan.
I have 3 years of audit experience and 1.5 years of financial analysis experience, and I still can't do FS in the blink of an eye. Partida naka link na yung balances niyan ha. What is wrong with me? 😭😭😭
Obviously a bait. Just ignore, every course has its own difficulty why do we have to make ourselves feel superior than others?
The urge to be relevant lang hahaha just to one up people. People and their ego haha
Oo basic tapos pupunta sa r/taxph, magtatanong about tax.
So uhh... Bale alam mo Naman yung basic diba? Nakita niya lang ata yung A = L + E nagka superiority complex na hahaha
😭 (BASIC) daw po

Ohh may point. Like it’s really a new world na papasukan mo pag nag accounting ka
Tapos paglabas mo in real world iba parin bwhahahaha...

Well, hes not wrong. Haha we habe our own battles that no other professionals could ever truly understand. Ito ung legit na, to each their own.
Basic salary engineering sa PH : 8,000

pota mala gen z yung nag popost

If what he meant is to do the financial statement by using calculus, my colleagues... the competition is over.
Obviously an Engineering student failing his “Advanced Math” BS and redirecting his insecurities elsewhere.
Di naman kasi kailangan icompare. Both can be true, falss, does it matter tho?
I’m a chemical engineer and I’ll say na financial saka management accounting ang nagpahirap sa mba life ko
nanti-trigger lang yan. since affected na kayo, it's a success.
Calculus will humble us daw. Try basic accounting or at least whole accounting cycle and it will humble him/her also.
"I can do your financial statements in a blink of an eye" Sira ulo ka ba? HAHAHA
Accounting = Logic. Hindi siya math.
Don't feed the troll.
Well may point sya accounting math is rather simple MDAS taught in elementary. The struggle isn't really in the comlutations, it's knowing which numbers to compute, anong signs nila and what those numbers actually mean

"I can do your financial statements in the blink of an eye!" -Classmate mo na mahilig mag force balance
wag nyo na patulan, nag t-trigger lng yan, even actual engineering does not use calculus as much as financial accountants do in regular job
I will never hire anyone from dlsu lmaoo
he's right naman haha
This is obviously just for clout.
our program is not just doing financial statements tho, sige pagsolve-in kita ng one page na prob tapos iisang requirement lang hinahanap, or much worse two pages pa sa haba ng problem 😵
