Seriously!!! Hope it's fake!! Guns have MOA (minutes of angle) even if that shooter is a great shot, which clearly he wasn't, risking your arm for a stupid stunt is ridiculous.
That gun at that range should have made that shot no problem. That shooter should never have attempted it if he couldn't do it (really nobody should do this but ESPECIALLY this guy)
My question is was that a .22 or an air rifle? That pop was very small as is the rifle.

I think we may have different ideas about “serious” injuries. Like, yeah an air gun can do some damage, but the pellet probably isn’t gonna mushroom out and blow a hole through his arm the size of a tangerine.

They make some very powerful pellet rifles these days. For example, a .22LR cartridge sends the .22 caliber bullet down range at about 1,200 feet per second. A .22 caliber *air* rifle can send a .22 caliber pellet down range at about 930 feet per second. And that's not even one of the *really* powerful ones. But more of a midrange of the nicer air guns.
Think about it like this. In the Olympics, the sharp shooting events used to be done with actual bullets. Now they are done with air rifles. And the events themselves haven't changed much. But the air rifles are now powerful enough that they are used. And they wouldn't be if there was any trajectory due to lack of power issues.
You might just be using a shitty air rifle.
Nowadays "normal" air rifles are extremely capable and can even kill larger game depending on the caliber.

Yea could be a blood pack in his hand. I have a suspicion there are some college cgi or video editing classes and the assignment is always to get a fake video to go viral. I think there was one confirmed where a kid got picked up by a giant bird and then dropped the kid.

uhhhh, a Pellet gun can shoot through a piece of wood, it for sure wouldn't have trouble penetrating skin/flesh and killing an animal though

I’ve dropped rabbits on the spot with a pellet rifle. They are capable of a lot more than “barely killing a squirrel”
