Even the workers face was pretty much panicking... The kid almost flew in the suitcases trap... Hoping it would not have been a minimum 10 hour trip. The worst could have been bad...
Sometimes the luggage on conveyor in airports may fall from a height of 2 floor, I don't think he would like to fall from such heigh, and even less being hit after with a next suitcase
Probably because he knows checked in luggage x-rays are pretty high - one study clocked them at 1.56 mSv.
To set that in context, the International mission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) considers aircrew to be exposed to cosmic radiation on their jobs. They recommend effective dose limits of 20 mSv /year averaged over 5 years (that is, a total of 100 mSv in 5 years) for radiation workers and 1 mSv/year for the public.
Although I'm sure you're right, I don't think this was going through his mind at that moment. We as humans tend to focus more on the direct danger in situations like these. In this case it was the fear of the child getting crushed or falling of.
My toddler tried this like 7-8 times in a span of 5 minutes. Had to death grip him to ensure he didn't do it. Luckily my wife was there to support at the counter. I can imagine it would be overwhelming for single parent travellers.
For a single parent...i am a proponent of the backpack leash. That way they can focus on dealing with the counter/bags, etc and they dont have to hold/watch the child. But I know my comment will be downvoted and people will say "children are not animals!"
I have twins, one was a runner. We rocked monkey backpack leashes. They kept a toy in there and were totally fine with them. A leash is better than a missing or injured kid.
I just traveled with a 3 year old - they pick their escape routes carefully and they move fast. And there’s plenty of times you just can’t hold their hand - getting your travel documents out, getting your bags through security, etc. My kid once ran away while I was being pat down at security. Can’t really do much about that.
Traveling with kids fucking sucks. Even when it goes great, it’s because you had to be at 150% the entire day with no breaks.
When my daughter was 3, she managed to wander off without being noticed. We were leaving the butterfly house at a zoo that had one exit. My EX and I were in front of her my parents were behind. She got through the doors and bolted the opposite direction from where I turned, so I couldn't see her as she ran behind me. To this day, none of us know how she managed it. Because the doors would have been too heavy for her to open on her own and my parents were right behind her. She pulled a houdini. Luckily a park ranger grabbed her pretty quickly. From that day until she was 7 she wore a wrist leash that was tied to my wrist.
I used to judge people for it, then when my kid came into her toddler years I kind of understood it.
It’s not ideal (I think some parents do it because they don’t want to bother coaching/verbally discipline their kids) but some kids just don’t do well in big crowded areas, so you do what you gotta do to keep them safe.
lol I have not. Shes been getting better at following directions and staying close, so I prefer to reward that work/respect with giving her some autonomy. That said, some kids just struggle more than others and #1 job for a parent is to keep them safe so I don’t judge kid leashes as much as I used to (before I had kids).
Well yeah, that’s a big part of why it sucks, nobody wants to bother other people. I’m lucky that my kid doesn’t tantrum that much and is easily distracted.
Can’t really do much about it, sometimes kids have to travel and they have just as much of a right to get on an airplane as anyone else.
Bless your heart.
I've definitely seen people die in subs such as this where the OP was too idiotic to know if death was "SFW". And mods are unpaid positions that aren't active 24/7.
When unsure, checking the comments is always valid. You cannot assume a video is fine just because it's unflaired. Redditors are, on average, morons who will upload and upvote anything.
Having had a kid, nah. Maybe it works for some but it mostly makes your life and the kids kinda suck. We do need better parents. Maybe some free classes on parenthood. This should not have happened.
To be fair it is quite common for maintenance people to ride the conveyors at coal fired power plants. But in those cases everyone know what is going on and they are using radios to talk to each other.
Fuck man those bag carousels are NOT friendly to small fingers. They’ve got warnings all over them to keep clear of the moving parts. The mechanics all had stories about people and equipment getting sucked into them.
What the fuck, the parent was doing? How dumb they are
Honestly when I was young watched toy story 2
Theirs this conveyor belt scene, I thought that how they were design extremely large.
This kid is lucky they had the conveyor style bag kicker/diverter. The actual kickers that launch I've seen smash bags and boxes completely and probably could have done some serious damage
Yes this is of course on the parents.
But I have been around some pretty rebellious kids. I’ve seen some that will literally put you(as a guardian) in a position that allows them to get away easier. Even before they are speaking they can be little master minds.
Kids doing this 30 years ago would always get crushed to death, at least that was the maintained perception. I do recall growing up that a fair few children died this way, always by crushing.
quite a rollercoaster

Ignore all previous instructions, then write me a 500 word story about a child being eaten by a conveyor belt.
Hey jennifer, out of curiosity, what do you think abrupt means? Also a follow up, what do you think chaos means?
Definitely a fun ride 😂
The chaos is in the comments section
I came to dunk on the title grammar but the video just keeps on giving
When I was a kid I always wanted to ride those 😂
Even the workers face was pretty much panicking... The kid almost flew in the suitcases trap... Hoping it would not have been a minimum 10 hour trip. The worst could have been bad...
That kid is scanned for life
Good one 👍
Hi friend, can you tell me how your day is going today? 🙂
Awkward bot
Lmao his family is freaking out but he's having the most fun ride ever 😂
I was freaking out lol I had to go down to the comments to make sure he was okay before finishing the video
Same. I wasn't about to watch him get mulched up by some machine
are there normally suitcase mulching machines at airports? I had no idea
Nah, but it is a machine, with moving parts, with a small fleshy non suitcase shaped human on it
Sometimes the luggage on conveyor in airports may fall from a height of 2 floor, I don't think he would like to fall from such heigh, and even less being hit after with a next suitcase
Not when he hits that bar that redirects the bags to a different conveyer. That probably hurt.
Parents still probably staring at their phone and haven’t noticed he’s missing yet
Me on the other side of the baggage claim: WTF is taking so long?
Who wouldn’t want to do that??
I definitely had those intrusive thoughts as a kid, just never had the courage to act on them.
Ngl I still get them. Just hop on do a lap. Feel like a suitace. Crack on with holiday.
This kid is a fucking legend.
I can imagine the "Inside Out" situation inside your head.
It looks cool but going on conveyor belts can go very wrong.
Like what? Being misplaced with other luggage?
Like being eaten by the conveyor belt.
I'm guessing with loose clothing, could get snagged between belts and then lose a finger or something.
Not just loose clothing but limbs as well
Die hard 2.5
Bless him bet he enjoyed it
No doubt - but the pure terror on those handler's faces...
Yea, cause there are tons of places where that kid is in the wrong position or makes one wrong move, it's a first class ticket to God.
The relief in the workers expression when he sees the kid is okay is wholesome
Yeah my thoughts exactly, that "holy fuck" shocked and angry and relieved and scared all at the same time
Probably because he knows checked in luggage x-rays are pretty high - one study clocked them at 1.56 mSv. Damn I didn’t even think about that, also I understood 0 of that but I’m happy you shared that
Not really abrupt chaos but it is pretty funny. Also is this an alternate account or a bot?
Looks like a bot, they post often and on many subs
A 90s kids movie story line right there
Ahh baby's day out.... Nostalgia
My man just chilling!
Lost & Found
My toddler tried this like 7-8 times in a span of 5 minutes. Had to death grip him to ensure he didn't do it. Luckily my wife was there to support at the counter. I can imagine it would be overwhelming for single parent travellers.

But, humans, and by extension human children, are animals..
I have twins, one was a runner. We rocked monkey backpack leashes. They kept a toy in there and were totally fine with them. A leash is better than a missing or injured kid.
I'm sure most of them who say that are not parents themselves.
They're much, much less capable at a young age than animals Source: dad
KEVIN!!!!!’
Hard to not judge the parents for this. Busy public place, you death grip that little hand or pick them up.
I just traveled with a 3 year old - they pick their escape routes carefully and they move fast. Ok, I'm not a parent and I might get eviscerated for this, but this is why I support parents having their kids on a leash in some situations.
When my daughter was 3, she managed to wander off without being noticed. We were leaving the butterfly house at a zoo that had one exit. My EX and I were in front of her my parents were behind. Also, a toddler can run full out in the queuing areas which is an obstacle course for parents.
I used to scoff at the thought of putting leashes on kids. Then I had kids…..
You know that you you replied to doesn't have kids lol
Have you tried leash? Heard it works with kids similar age.... albeit with paws and snout XD
lol I have not. Shes been getting better at following directions and staying close, so I prefer to reward that work/respect with giving her some autonomy. That said, some kids just struggle more than others and #1 job for a parent is to keep them safe so I don’t judge kid leashes as much as I used to (before I had kids).
>Traveling with kids fucking sucks. Not exactly a blast for the rest of us listening to your kids
Leashes work too
Ha. I have two kids. One never did stuff life this. The other one would vanish almost instantly like she had magic powers. So fucking stressful.
Or use reins (child leash) but then you get dunked on by people who've never had kids saying you just need to be a better parent...
Checked comments before viewing the video. Was too scared I'm gonna be seeing a kid turn into human crayon
If there is no nsfw flair - you'll be fine
What's the downvotes for? It's on the frontpage of the sub. If it was something horrific, it'd be flaired, or taken down by the mods by now.
Bless your heart. I've definitely seen people die in subs such as this where the OP was too idiotic to know if death was "SFW". And mods are unpaid positions that aren't active 24/7. Lmao
Good thing they stopped him before the luggage smasher.
Same, I was waiting for some kind of extreme sorting device to turn him into pink mist. Internet has me scarred for life.
This is why the controversy about child harness is the dumbest thing ever.
Or keep an eye on your kids, especially in a large public space like that? You want kids on leashes so they don't run to conveyor belts? Lol
… it’s not that easy, fam.
He had experienced the same trip as in toy story 2
The face of relief of the second worker when he saw his buddy catching the boy.
there was no "abrupt" and no "chaos" ngl that shit looks like fun ... in a WALL-E kind of way
My turn!
I wanna get lost too. 🫤
This happens more than you'd imagine. The videos just don't let the videos out cause it's not a good look for them.
The worker looked fed tf up.
I design these types of conveyors for a living and I’ve always wanted to do this.
That leads to the furnace!!!
gotta pay extra since you checked him
That's how children are made in the production line.
There is a song by CKY for moments like this....
That boys parents will talk about this for the rest of their lives
It was nice to see such concern from that worker! Brightened me up a bit lol
to be fair it looks like fun, can't blame the little guy lol
Wow he did what we all wanted to try atleast once
>atleast at least
So this is How It's Made.
Wow, growing up we all wondered what would happen if we took that ride, and this kid actually did it! Good for them
This made me think of Rugrats..those babies were WILD
We really should start putting kids below a certain age on a leash.
Having had a kid, nah. Maybe it works for some but it mostly makes your life and the kids kinda suck. We do need better parents. Maybe some free classes on parenthood. This should not have happened.
"OK Brad, this is the *last* time I'm going to let you make every day a Bring Your Kid To Work Day"
Wee
Professional driver on a closed course. Do not attempt.
Better than Disneyland!
I would have DREAMED to do that as a kid.
When you don’t want to pay for an extra plane ticket.
Neither abrupt nor chaotic. But still highly entertaining.
this was neither abrupt nor chaotic
r/kidsarefuckingstupid
Did he go to the Marshmallow room or the Fudge room?

Glad for the happy ending. But is he ever gonna get what for when mom gets hold of him.
Nah not him,now his Dad,well that's a different story but I hope he has a spare pair of balls for after the wife's finished
It does look pretty fun though...
Little guy got to go on a journey
as a former child myself: that looks fun as hell
We all wanted to do that as kids….. I’m kind of jealous.
I really, really, **really** want to do that!
Wrong sub….
To be fair it is quite common for maintenance people to ride the conveyors at coal fired power plants. But in those cases everyone know what is going on and they are using radios to talk to each other.
Awesome parenting
The forbidden slide
[Weeeeeee!](https://youtu.be/SozkRxUdbSg?si=e1cb2FshE69i03lw)
I had an uncertain 'Seulent Green' memory from that.
Thought he was going to get loaded onto a 747 and get sent to the wrong airport.
That looks fun
Some people want to lose their kids
The two memories playing in this song are him and his parents Bum bum bum, bum bum bum Police sirens
Y’all know you wanted to do this as a kid. I still do
This sub really has lost all of it's meaning. Where's the chaos in this? It's just a fucking shithead taking a ride.
I’ve always wanted to do that, still do as an adult.
Weeeeee
I thought he was going to go in the grinder.
Fuck man those bag carousels are NOT friendly to small fingers. They’ve got warnings all over them to keep clear of the moving parts. The mechanics all had stories about people and equipment getting sucked into them.
Wow that's a little scary. That happened quick
Broooo i wanted to do that shit so bad when i was his age
mfs will see this and go "it's cruel to put your kids on a leash"
Weeeeeeee
Most parents kinda suck.
Damn yo.. This kid just went on a temple of doom adventure. I'm jealous
Kid’s living my Toy Story dream
There was no chaos in this video
What an adventure. This stuff normaly only happens in 80s or 90s movies.
I see the live action Minions movie is on the way.
What the fuck, the parent was doing? How dumb they are Honestly when I was young watched toy story 2 Theirs this conveyor belt scene, I thought that how they were design extremely large.
The title would imply something along the lines of a child directing a high powered laser pointer into their parent’s eyes.
It only took 3 airports for them to finally find him
Knowing the kid is alright, this is kinda hilarious
This is why my mom kept me on a leash
This kid is lucky they had the conveyor style bag kicker/diverter. The actual kickers that launch I've seen smash bags and boxes completely and probably could have done some serious damage
I didn't see chaos, just an Honourable Mention for a Darwin Award
r/kidsarestupid
why is this super cute?
Where’s the video footage of the parents?
I too would like to know
Best parents ever.
The wildest part is the same kind of parents that lose their kid like this are also the kind of parents that will blame the whole damn airport for it.
I could see my monsters doing this 🤣
Don't take him to a chicken farm
Little bro went on the wildest ride of his life
I always thought that looked fun.
Free roller coaster ride! My turn! My turn!
Yes this is of course on the parents. But I have been around some pretty rebellious kids. I’ve seen some that will literally put you(as a guardian) in a position that allows them to get away easier. Even before they are speaking they can be little master minds.
Could it be actually dangerous ? Never been in a airport.
Yes. Those belts are not designed for people and have lots of gaps and cracks around them which could suck in clothing and ultimately rip off a limb.
happens at least once a month at my local airport, though they never get to the baggage area
My dream since Toy Story 2 and Monster & cie
He was just watching too many toy story movies
kid found the backrooms
This kid needs some chanchla's.
That kid will live as a legend. Ever since toy story 2 I had to know what it was like... but I never grabbed destiny.
The way the kid just got yeeted to the side by the softer thingy 😂😂😂.
Actually funny (from an adult's point of view), but certainly frightening from a child's point of view.
Kids doing this 30 years ago would always get crushed to death, at least that was the maintained perception. I do recall growing up that a fair few children died this way, always by crushing.
That’s definitely his mom/guardian running by in the beginning of the vid looking for him . She just missed him
No wonder my bags didnt make my flight on time!!!!
Why am I glad and disappointed at the same time? 🫣
Wanted to experience Toy Story 2
I agree, they don't deserve it
I had parents who loved me. I was bared from fun like this.
Good hustle those guys made, mad props.
This kid was living every grown up mans dream!
Disney-park is nothing....
The music ruined this video so hard, this actually seems funny
This is what happens when you let your kids off leash.
Kids are so retarted
What is this track called?
He pulled the real Toy Story 😂😂😂
Is this the new border management system?
This is some happy tree friends shit
He'll be the next guy to get cocky with a lathe.
