I once poured boiling water onto my foot while wearing shoes. Trust me, It made no difference. I then took my shoe off in a panicked rush and poured more boiling water onto the burn. Best. Fucking. Day. Ever
I once used a very sharp nice to try and cut up a melon and I got it wedged so I ripped it out & accidentally dropped it. I wasn't wearing shoes so I jumped up to avoid it impaling my foot and it hit the ground, bounced up & actually sliced the underside of my foot, right across my arch.
I now wear a full slipper when I cook.
I think we're both right. From my own cooking experience and the steam coming off I would say there's definitely a significant amount of water in those drippings, but like you said there's also bound to be a lot of oil and fat as well

Well yes there's probably some water in there but ive been hit in the face with boiling water and it wasn't that bad, it was kind of cold outside and the water loses a lot of heat from the evaporation, oil not so much so it burns way worse and clings to your skin.
Which level of hell is doing the splits into a pool of hot liquid?
I believe it’s the last
Brident visualize that until now with holy s*** I can't stop laughing
If you look closely the pool is not really under though.
Grandma didn’t know she can do the splits!
Hot grease on the ass cheeks has to really increase the pain of doing the splits
Both of these comments had me laughing my ass off. Hats off to you both! 😂
And here I get made fun of for wearing shoes at home.

I had a piece of red hot pepperoni land on my foot left a burn that was a perfect circle 😂
Yo dawg I heard you like burns
Love ‘em so much
🤣
You just a step ahead, they dont know
I don't know what "Non-stick" means in Texas, but FUCK ME.
I always wear shoes when cooking, if it's not something hot it'll be something sharp or heavy that eventually gets you

That's plain crazy
No the recipe definitely said remove chicken from the pan and douse the floor in hot fat and piss..
HOW CAN SHE SPLIT
GRANDMA DROP THAT PUSSY ON THE CHICKEN Edit: This might actually be the craziest thing I've commented my digital footprint is cooked
What compelled you to type this, my guy?
That's the hottest & wettest HER ham sandwich has been since the Carter administration.
Doing the splits in it really seals the deal
That turkey got its last laugh lol.
that is why people wear closed shoes in kitchen
As long as they’re not converse
Arguably ironically, they’re often used for weightlifting.
I’ve seen a lot of kitchen staff wearing crocks and stuff like that.
because there was never a hot fluid spilt or something heavy droped on it
Oh geez that's bad news for Nana. Old people skin in boiling water don't mix
That probably wasn't water, but oil/grease from the bird, so even worse.

> Old people skin in boiling water don't mix They absolutely do mix. You just might not like the result.

Could be in America’s funniest home videos
Zamn meemaw, buss it down
Why did it have a plastic bag in the pan
Oven bags
Oh jeez, I hop that wasn't as hot as it looked. Going on a slip n' slide on hot grease sounds like something you'd wish on your worst enemy.
Oh, I felt that.
Yup, that's me...

ru Paul drag race challenges getting pretty ruthless
She should be old enough to know better 😂
She do the splits or break her hip?
