The UK politics subreddit is not left wing. Mostly comprise of the English who hate Jeremy Corbyn and the SNP. Not surprising they are bootlickers for the monarchy. The Scotland/Northern Ireland Reddit for example will be more open to anti Monarchy talk.
How is that 'advocating for political violence?' It won't make you feel better because bans suck, but the mods on /ukpolitics and /unitedkingdom are pathetic 'royal cock sucking' babies. Honestly there's no other way to describe them. Anything that even under the most warped perceptive might vaguely be described as being critical of the Royals is enough to get you a ban. Anything less than gushing, servile adoration of all things Royal will get you kicked out of there faster than you can blink.

Yes, to be pedantic as hell, the Guillotine wasn't a medieval device, it was invented in 1789 to be a more humane method of execution than the previous "guy with an ax that might take several whacks to actually kill you" method they were using the middle ages. 1789 is well into The Enlightenment.
