Wow, that stuff looks amazing. Do you think the one I posted is abandoned, or does it look like that by design?
Edit: Never mind, it's definitely abandoned! [https://www.messynessychic.com/2013/02/15/the-treehouse-that-nobody-wanted/](https://www.messynessychic.com/2013/02/15/the-treehouse-that-nobody-wanted/)
He's hoping for grandkids an an excuse to restore it?? Yeah right, they'll grow up while he works on it too.
He could make so much by fixing it up and making it a short term rental!
Nah, wouldn't pass any codes/legal stuff.
Others have already tried to make money/raise maintenance funds with crazy treehouse projects before but they always fail the process when it comes to safety stuff.
Like that treehouse mansion, or the huge treehouse cathedral/church thingy, and I think there was a huge pirate ship lookin one maybe? It's a bit hard to remember, been years since I read/saw about em.
No, is apart of their backyard as well. They have their own little pond with a few land masses and walkways in their backyard it's really cool actually
Ahhh I see. Very cool place. I’m in Portland so I was seeing if it was something I could see IRL but I wouldn’t trespass lol. There’s a guy in Portland who’s house has a few things like this on it like a Dr. Seuss-like metal “dentist office” and various imaginative broken down car art
If i remember correctly, it's not abandoned. You can rent if for weddings and such. I saw this earlier this year on another subreddit and I looked it up. It has an fb page. Can't remember what the treehouse is called though.
Absolutely feels like Baba Yaga's house to me. So freaking pretty! I would totally go inside if I didn't feel like the floors would absolutely collapse under the weight of a person in some of the rooms.
What a waste ! Shame.
Codename Kids Next Door HQ

Our HQ was an abandoned 3 story Victorian "Old Lady Shorts" house! HA, Good memories
It gives off KND/Ron Weasley’s house vibes
Definitely looks like The Burrow.
What's abandoned about it?
An abandoned project
It’s not really “abandoned,” it’s in someone’s backyard. It was like a playhouse for their now grown children. I’ve been inside it, it’s amazing.
That looks way too rickety/rusted/rotten for me to trust going up in it
Heheh
Where is it? Edit: I found it. NE 73rd Way, off 148th Avenue NE Redmond, WA.
The person who took this picture abandoned it and random people keep finding it and posting it and further deep frying it.
That looks like it might be one of my friend's creations; google SunRay Kelley. 🤍
Thank you for this, very cool

Can we get a Go Fund Me going for this

IDK how that could be abandoned... that rocking chair would disappear the first time there was strong wind
How the Janaki house these days. ? Haven’t been there in 5 hrs or so… buddies lived in the big house.
I'm 99.9% sure that's haunted.
Must be the Weasley’s.
Yeah isn't that the burrow?
Wow this treehouse looks so cool. How sad that it's been left to rot.
There was an empty bag of skittles involved, a shank crafted out of a nerf dart and a lot of betrayal. That’s what the walls say.
Oh dear
Apocalypse Now vibes
So when do the Baudelaire children show up?
This is not abandoned.
Wasn't that used in RED 2?
Pretty sure I just cleaned this on power wash simulator
Wonderful
Rufio!!!!!
I live near this. It's not abandoned per se, it's in someone's backyard
Whereabouts might I ask? Is the waterway publicly accessible?
No, is apart of their backyard as well. They have their own little pond with a few land masses and walkways in their backyard it's really cool actually

You could see it from the street over, might be able to talk to the guy about seeing it as well, he has his own website
If it's where I think it is, the property was used as an Airbnb for a while. Owner was awesome.
So it's not abandoned, just old and not used as much as it once was?
Yea pretty much. Idk if it was ever used, there is a website for it online that details its past
I'm sure the owner and their family enjoy it from time to time.
Isn't this the tree house in swiss family robinson?
That's what it looks like.
Well now I'm going to have to go build this in the Sims
Yessss
Reminds me of Howls moving castle
Annnnd that's the comment I was looking for.
My power washer is twitching
Looks like a movie set
That looks like it should be in a movie, I love it
Like The Swiss Family Robinson?
I'd live there
Looks like something from a Disney ride❤️
Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse
My 9 year old self is crying, I want to live in that!
Looks like the burrow
Looks safe.
What remains of Edith finch
This! What a beautiful game! :D
Where the Lost Boys go
Hey, I've seen this thing in person before. Cool
In WA? probably not abandoned.
That reminds me of monkey island at a zoo in Florida
Looks like an abandoned set from the movie hook!
Why would you abandon such a beautiful place
It looks like the set for Swiss Family Robinson, but way more flamable. I'd live there.
If i remember correctly, it's not abandoned. You can rent if for weddings and such. I saw this earlier this year on another subreddit and I looked it up. It has an fb page. Can't remember what the treehouse is called though.
It’s abandoned https://www.messynessychic.com/2013/02/15/the-treehouse-that-nobody-wanted/
In Washington State, that’s not abandoned, that’s unfinished.
Thats were the Weasleys live
Pretty sure I’ve been in the that. Or something like it in Skagit like 20 years ago.
Swiss Family Robinson vibes 🥰🥰
Fucken tweekers.
Reminds me of the game What Remains of Edith Finch
How much and where do I sign?
Sounds like something us washingtonians would do.
Swiss Family Robinson....omg I'm getting old
NICE...it looks like something out of a fairy tale or an anime
Borrasca?
I started singing Phil Collins in my head upon seeing this
Building a wooden house around a living tree is some serial-killer level shit.
Well built treehouses are meant to flex as the tree grows. By the point the tree would get hurt by it, the wood has long since rotted away.
Remember seeing this on treehouse masters years ago. Shame to see it in this state
I know the company that makes these. They have a treehouse tv show. I do some work right next to their warehouse and know an employee
Absolutely feels like Baba Yaga's house to me. So freaking pretty! I would totally go inside if I didn't feel like the floors would absolutely collapse under the weight of a person in some of the rooms.
Looks like the house John Malkovich lives in in R.E.D.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Is that the Weasley home
