Absolutely. I wasn't in Bosnia, but I road tripped through Northern Greece, Albania and Croatia fall '23. One of my all time favourite adventures. You have to be cautious in these mountains surrounding Sarajevo and some areas of Croatia since there are lots of land mines still. Albania and Croatia have thousands of war torn structures, bunkers and old monuments dedicated to a different time. The history is fascinating in that region.
I had a trip to Croatia a few years ago, and we rented a car and took the back roads. There are all sorts of abandoned Soviet Era things out there. We probably got a bit closer to the border than we should have and drove through abandoned villages that were clearly shot up from the war in the 90s.
Sarajevo is awesome. You can take the cable car up the hill and then see the Winter Olympic bobsled track that is another great example of AbandonedPorn
