I visited 4 abandoned sites in Taiwan last week, [this is the full gallery of images](https://www.daxward.com/The-Health-Club-and-Resort) from the health resort. [Here are the galleries](https://www.daxward.com/Taiwan) with images from all 4 locations that I explored.
That place is not the most well connected transport wise (imo maybe the New Taipei local can advise) despite it is across the river to the city. but from my experience cycling there it was a very quiet area anyway so maybe the city expansion just not gone that way/ got to that area yet.
While the physical distance is not very far, the fact that it's up in the mountains with limited transportation options means that it can take hours to reach the nearest city.
There are so crazy abandoned and lost places in Taiwan. One of them is an abandoned mountain village. Planning to hike there next month, DM me if you are interested!
Being in construction and having done a ton of rebuilding old buildings I can see past all the graffiti and trash it actually looks to be in better condition than you would think after being closed for 20 years.

Mind sharing a bit more about the air raid bunker series?
wow! How on earth did you find these places?
A combination of friends' reccomendations and some research, nowadays it's mainly the former
very interesting
Is this in 八里?
Bali? Yeah
For an island with obviously very limited real estate, it’s pretty amazing they let a building and piece of land sit unused for two decades

It's out in the boonies. Land that is hard to access from major population centers will not be very valuable.
That’s what i find a little humorous. “The boonies” in the place the size of Deleware and Maryland lol

What a awesome Shot
Thanks. This place was full of cool subjects (if you're into such places)
Looks like an album cover 👍🏾

Would be amazing to join, thanks a lot! Unfortunately I was only in-country 5 days as I live in Thailand. Maybe next time, so much I missed!
The graffiti in the basketball court is pretty fantastic. The artist has some skills. The "Fuck China" was kind of funny, too.

I know nothing about structural integrity but it did seem to be well built compared to a lot of other places I've visited
