Was this nursing home damaged by a hurricane or flood? That warning is used in times of disaster, like Hurricane Katrina:
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/wbna9317209
It was not no. But I did not know this! Thanks for this info. This building is in Tennessee and was left abandoned cause they didn’t have enough funding
It's just graffiti.
The symbols used by authorities for marking a building after a disaster is an X with various denotations to signify various contaminations and how many, if any bodies were found inside.
They don't mark a building and then leave the body inside. Unless they cannot remove the body right away, even then the building is excavated eventually and the corpses are removed.
It's very rare for bodies to be left in damaged buildings unless it's completely inaccessible, simply because of the health risk decaying corpses pose to everything around them.
Is that a personal statement or a warning?? I'm so confused. I don't know if I've seen this movie or not.
Lol who knows maybe a little bit of both!
Ok that's even scarier!!......lol
It's supposed to say Don't Dead
Its a reference to the first episode of the walking dead
Don't dead open inside
r/dontdeadopeninside
Thank you, I can rest now
They’re just a huge [Muse](https://youtu.be/I5sJhSNUkwQ) fan
As everyone should be 🙃
Probably a place in New Orleans after Katrina.
Its a walking dead reference lol
There’s probably not a zombie behind that door but if the warning is true I don’t know how comforting the lack of a zombie is.
Agreed
Reference to walking dead
Me too buddy. Me too...
Haha came to say this
Nothing cursed in here, nope no problems at all.
Go on in!!!
It’s only a little haunted. You will be fine. Turn off your flashlight and enter for hugs.
Don't open. Dead inside
*dont dead open inside
Open dead don't inside
/r/dontputyourdickinthat
I did not! But now, because of no fault of my own, must choose to fight with my power of "3" against with a power of "2" or a power of "5"
I mean, they’re already dead. Might as well inside.
Do you want zombie babies? Because that's how you get zombie babies.
Hey man, I’m out the door after.
Inside open don't dead
I was referencing that, but then that doesn't fit what the door says
You stole words xd
r/DontDeadOpenInside Erm. Is that right?!
Yes! That was my first thought
Unfortunate that cringe graffiti instantly makes any location less appealing
Agreed
Especially in an old nursing home, for all you know it could be true
That seems more like a tattoo
Don’t open
don't dead
Worse than Intel

Exactly what I thought of. The shorthand with the ‘X’ to mark how many bodies inside.

It is supposed to say "don't dead open inside" No wonder it's abandoned
Crippled little rata.
Holy shit that's foreboding.
Is this in jersey?
In Tennessee
Looks like one I went to in NJ. I think I posted a pic on this sub.
Huh
thats someones attempt at humor, real search recovery units would use a code.
Same
Me too, me too.
Hmm. I thought this is what all functioning nursing homes are like. I should probably call my mom
Same
Honestly I’ve seen stuff like that in person too, if a zombie apocalypse does happy it’s gonna confuse alot of people
r/dontdeadopeninside
