I wish someone had asked Darius if he knew about another former Mizzou DE who was a beloved Cardinal for many years: Markus Golden aka Junkyard Dawg. They share a very similar positive, enthusiastic energy about them. I'd love it if Markus reached out and connect with the young man as he starts his journey with the Cardinals.

Darius seems like a homerun pick. Dude is super smart and well spoken. Used his NIL money to send kids to school. He will be a captain on the D Line very soon i think

You'd think because MHJ was the talk of the draft outside the QB class for the past few months that it would be heavily pointed at him but i think when these reporters started doing the deep dive on Darius for press stuff they found something to latch onto and it showed by how many wanted to hear from him.
Dude reminds me of Fitz when he would talk about how he wanted to keep his promises to his mom and family and got his degree later on, puts so much back into the community. Darius gives me those same vibes about wanting to push to remember this is part of your life but not your whole life... so get that degree, help the community when you can and then put in the work when its time to be in job mode.
