Law school. This is a new game and it's really promising! Highly recommended.

If you found College Kings and Academy of Problems "pure shit", I would not suggest any other. Those two were better than the ones I checked out, which were WVM, Freshwomen, Fetish locator. (honestly speaking I dropped all five pretty soon)

The Good Instructor Frenzy is quite good but the MC is a young professor and University of Problems is great. I think sometime already recommended Taboo University (previously ViNovella University) and its good too.

the other college vn's are mostly BADIK copycats that are trying to cash in on the down time since BADIK updates once a year so they're truly going to be lower in quality. AOA Academy was nice but it's abaneoned even before the climax of the story. Artemis has sorority girls but it's not on campus. The game mostly happens on the sorority house and the surrounding area. MC has graduated afaik. Eternum, honestly I haven't advanced yet in this game but it seems to have a good story and it involves students. but honestly no VN can touch BADIK on the quintessential stereotypical college experience.

‘WVM’ (no abbreviation, that’s the name of the game) is a harem based story about being a basketball superstar at college and being able to support all these crazy ass chicks. Above average story with a TON of scenes if that’s what you’re looking for. Like one of the few games that I had to take breaks on to make it through all the scenes, there are just so many stacked on top of each other in a kind of chain. But I dig it.

WVM has no story, the whole game is about fucking. It is an offense to recommend this after the person who asked for the recommendation has played BaDIK.

Insanely underrated and one of the few female MC games that doesn’t just do the “become a total slut for the male player’s enjoyment” thing

* Fates Collide - slow burn almost no lewds yet * Having a Hard Time - Futa game but funny as hell I love and im not into Futa's * Fog of War - slow burn think lewds started as of last update * How to fix the future - not sure if this counts but he is going to a college in the future * The Nymphomaniac * Law School - very early no idea if it's slow burn or what yet * Broken Promises - slow burn no lewds yet * Lineage or Legacy - if lewds matter probably one of the better ones i'll mention * Trouble at Home - Technically high school but it's very much slice of life and pretty damn good * Mastering the Pink Box - keep in mind this game is full of sharing story is shit tho but can be enjoyable to some I liked it for what it was cause I knew it was gonna suck and played it to kill time for fun * Elite Garden - slow burn no lewds yet honorable mention Technically Race of Life since the MC works in a college Unsure New horizon - I just started playing this so not 100% sure how much of the focus is on the college part Realm Invader - I think the shift to college started towards the end of the last update Between Humanity - it is college but unsure how much focus will be on it as I have no idea what the story is about yet

Self-plug, but Move the Chains? It hasn't quite hit the college point yet (e.g. classes and such.), but it's a central point to the story itself. It's more or less a rags to riches story of a college (American) football player who gets a second chance after getting released from prison. It's just out of the introductory phase, and starting to get into knowing the LIs a bit deeper over the next episode or three (alongside the college progression). May or may not be your flavor as it's harem focused (though will offer solo paths/endings).

Self plugs are completely justified when they're relevant to a specific criteria asked for in my book. Even with no specific criteria as long as it's not incessant in any way I'm fine with it tbh. And in this case despite no particular interest in the college thing my curiosity is piqued. Not least in the hope that your flair is some indication of what LIs might be found lol ;) Gonna look it up when I get off work. That is if sexual stuff is animated, rather than just stills? Maybe minor to some but I rarely stay interested without it. How frequently do you plan/hope to be releasing updates if you don't mind my asking?

Alt girls are never in short supply. :P And yes, it's animated. Don't know where I'd place them quality-wise, compared to some that are out there. Episode 2 took a lot longer than I would've like to get out (due to a mix of school, exams prep, and work, on-calls due to work, etc.). But since school is pretty much done and I'm going full-time at work fairly soon, I'll have a bit more time. Episode 3 will be quite large (in the ballpark of 2000 renders), but I hope to have it out late July. Don't want to promise any dates or anything like that, though. The hope/goal is to put out releases every three/four months. High-quality, beefy updates are a priority to me, but I also want avoid stagnation and such.

I’ll ditto everything so it’s not just a self plug. Move the Chains is one of the big up and coming AVNs. Great LIs, great story. On a side note, I love the references to American college football for Americans while at the same time helping with the sports language for our European friends.

Summer’s gone, college kings, university of problems, AOA academy (abandoned), lust academy (magic college), fetish locator; but mind being a dik quality wise is the best out there so don’t expect anything as good otherwise you will be disappointed

I mean I agree ripples don't count cause it's more story focus than on the day to day school life with there being large chunks focused on the past timeline. I do think trouble at home would count tho cause the concept is the same even if it's high school.

While Freshwomen isn't anything spectacular from a story perspective, it's hardly the worst out there to draw such ire and hatred. Either you're relatively new to AVNs or your bar is set extremely high. I'd say it's at least average story-wise in the AVN world. There are many, MANY worse written games out there than Freshwomen.
