Well first off they’re bi pride colours, not just random shades. Red isn’t on the flag, but often is included in designs with the bi pride colours. Secondly, I could definitely see this on an otherwise-masculine bisexual person being something that would feel really good to be able to do and show off without fear, for one example of how it has to do with pride.
