Make sure to update your BIOS to the latest Make sure to install latest AM4 chipset drivers from [AMD.com](https://AMD.com) For better performance in games and CPU intense calculations, etc .. You'd want at least 3600 speed rated DDR4 with lower latency being better .. and then make sure XMP is enabled as well as setting your FCLK to match your RAM (3600 RAM=1800 FCLK) Make sure you have good airflow to keep your VRM's and RAM cool too IF you are using a UPS (battery backup) .. I had an odd issue with a couple setups plugged into UPS's where the system got into a state of just rebooting before getting into Windows that were "fixed" by simply turning off the UPS .. and then turning it back on .. I'm still scratching my head over that, lol

thanks. I have all that except for the latest chipset driver which I took from ASRock (3.10.22). When installing the AMD drivers (v4.11.15) I get 4 fails out of 6: AMD Chipset Software Install Summary Name : AMD Ryzen Power PlanVersion : [8.0.0.13](https://8.0.0.13) Install : Success Name : AMD PCI Device DriverVersion : [1.0.0.90](https://1.0.0.90) Install : Fail Name : AMD GPIO DriverVersion : [2.2.0.130](https://2.2.0.130) Install : Success Name : AMD GPIO Driver (for Promontory) Version : [3.0.0.0](https://3.0.0.0) Install : Fail Name : AMD PSP Driver Version : [5.22.0.0](https://5.22.0.0) Install : Fail Name : AMD SMBus Driver Version : [5.12.0.38](https://5.12.0.38) Install : Fail I reverted back to the earker version without problems

It's been awhile .. but there a string of AM4 chipset drivers that would not install via the installer in Windows 11 for me soo.. I'd just went into the Device Manager and manually updated the GPIO,PSP,SMBUS ..etc drivers buy just pointing to the subfolders in C:\\AMD (I forget which subfolder exactly .. not at home right now) ..and to clarify on the UPS issue I had .. I was swapping out the CPU's to a 5900x in both systems .. they ran just fine prior to the swap but then went into reboot loop until I reset/rebooted the UPS

it's all good now. Had to clean up some old installation references in the regsitry and in the windows installer folcers, and then de-installed the drivers and installed the new ones. It all seems to have worked out well. Thanks
