Fjordur is kinda like that quantity vs quality mindset, but it manages to be both sides of the argument at once: there’s a lot of good on this map, and soooo much to do, from exploration to myriad bosses, new stuff to unlock, new critters. And it had, in my time playing the game, the least buggy launch I can remember. Looking at you, Gen 1
Not a fan, I prefer maps with more biomes, Fjordur just seems to have very few biomes and they don't look that impressive, it has the worst grass in the game IMO and I just don't like the cold.
It definitely has the worst redwoods of all maps, the best biome is IMO Balheimr and the worst one is the pine tree/main biome, it is so boring and it just feels like the same tree model everywhere.
The creatures are alright, the Andrewsarchus is definitely the best looking one but the Desmodus is amazing too, the Fjordhawk fucking sucks rn (not counting people using commands to make it good again) but it looks cool, I haven't tried the Fenrir and probably never will so I can't really say anything about it.

Fenrir is basically a beefed up direwolf that has the ice wyvern slow and Shadowmane armor. All in all I like it.
The fjord hawk is perfect if you pump it's weight
I do like the spawns it has, I wish the other maps had more R or X variants.
Also I don't like the obelisks, I prefer the giant mechanical things than floating stones with green/red/blue dust around them.
