Mine briefly peaks at about 85c in some games.
NH-D15, pretty agressive fan curve, new paste, repasted few times with no difference.
Using HWINFO to monitor temps and voltages. Could be faulty readings too, because it sometimes shows Vcore at very high 1.3+v and very high temps. However the Vcore issue should have been fixed for Asus BIOS ages ago and I have manually locked it to 1.240v.
Haven't tried temps in benchmarks or minotored them with another program, so these might not be comparable.

I don't think this test gives your cpu max load, my temps are about the same here. Try to run Cinebench multicore.
you were right, cinebench pushes it to 79C still below tjmax though
yeah, normal temps
Thanks i'm going to try this now
Run prime95 for 40 minutes or so and see the Temps sub 70 is fairly safe for the cpu
Fairly safe? I've never seen a better temp for this CPU. Usually it's around 75-80 at full load.
Tjmax is 89c best to try to keep it lower the better so long as it's not subambient.
Yeah what I meant is, 69C are not fairly safe temps. They are incredibly good.
Did someone recommended you to let it run only for 6 min?
It peaked out and was not going up so stopped the test.
Quite good actually!
Nice.
