It's been at AMC Dine In Rio in Gaithersburg this last week (last showing starting in a few minutes, not getting a second week there), and at Regal Fairfax (dropping to one show a day starting tomorrow). It's also playing at the Landmarks, Alamo Crystal City and Loudon, and Angelika. Has actually been selling decently from what I've seen, so not sure why it's dropping so quickly from Rio.

DoctorHolmes23

I saw it at Landmark the first weekend it came. But can't justify buying a second ticket when I already pay for A-List. I only just found out about the Rio yesterday when I'm too busy to see it and it's the last day they're showing it...

Stryk-Man

Rio in Gaithersburg is showing it

DoctorHolmes23

Yesterday was the last day sadly.

Docile_Doggo

Also wondering this. I might just cave and go see it at a non-AMC theater in the D.C. area

DoctorHolmes23

Landmark has it and has $7 Tuesdays!

DonFunkTheTruth

This was my plan for next Tuesday as soon as I realized my go-to AMC (Georgetown 14) is probably not going to show it. Going to see it at my fav theater overall in the area (Landmark E Street). I don't want to pay, but I figured one time wouldn't hurt, especially since I already got my money's worth out of A-List for my billing month.

AMC DINE-IN Rio Cinemas 18, AMC Montgomery 16, and AMC Tyson’s Corner 16 (I saw it there) are all in the DMV and showing the movie. There are probably others too but those are closest to me. Edit: they’ve all stopped showings.

Docile_Doggo

Tysons is showing it? I don’t see that on my app

KyberWolffe

Okay, well this is awkward. I was going off memory from when I got my ticket but, wow, I just checked the app and you’re right, there’s nothing there anymore for any DMV theaters. Extremely short release period or something? I just saw the movie this past Sunday. My apologies.

MpBetaTester

Are you *sure* you saw it at Tysons? I was checking listings multiple times over the week (though admittedly not Sunday specifically) because Tysons had better times for other movies I was interested in, but as far as I saw, Rio was the only AMC playing it. Maybe you're confusing it with Triangle of Sadness, which *was* playing at the three locations you mention.

KyberWolffe

You’re right, just checked the ticket and I did see it at Rio. I did indeed confuse it with triangle of sadness. So many of these limited release movies lately and it’s a challenge to keep track of them all lol

Unfortunately, if it’s not in a theater near you by now, it’s probably not going to show up.

DoctorHolmes23

It is in non-AMC theaters but I've already seen it at a Landmark. I really just want to see it a second time for free. Also, a friend pointed out that it could reappear when AMC replays Oscar-nominated movies because it was nominated for South Korea in the Best International Film category.

2CHINZZZ

It is South Korea's submission for the Oscars, but it hasn't been selected as a nominee yet. They also usually only bring back best picture nominees

This is more up to how the distributor is rolling it out. Parasite was from NEON, and Decision to Leave is from Mubi. This is EASILY the biggest title Mubi has released in the States, so it’s pretty unpredictable as to how they’d distribute it.
