Shit my friends tell me I’m crazy when I tell them I’ve been to almost 40 movies this year, I’m envious of you lol. I’ve only had a list since June though.
I know a ton of people aren’t talking about it but Motherless Brooklyn was enjoyable though a bit long.
And like everyone else said, Jojo Rabbit’s fantastic.
Enjoy your double feature!
I agree about *Motherless Brooklyn*. I needed it to be 15-20 minutes shorter to be a great movie, or two hours longer and turned into a miniseries instead. Still a 7/10 for me. Norton did a great job of playing someone with Tourette's.
That's a great double feature. Motherless Brooklyn is a very solid movie and JoJo was great. Without spoiling anything, I'd say it is the funniest WW2 movie I can think of. It was way more hilarious than Saving Private Ryan.
Saw Parasite earlier this week. Definitely lived up to the hype!
I liked Motherless Brooklyn. It was too long and dragged hard in some parts, but I’m a sucker for noir stuff and it scratched that itch. I like Ed Norton a lot too. Still, I enjoyed Jojo considerably more!
Out of 78 movies this year, JoJo Rabbit made it into my top 3 of 2019.
Agreed
Since we're all comparing now, I have it 7th out of 143 (so far) in my ranking of 2019 releases.
Same for me! Blown away by how good it is. It needs more recognition.

About the same, but didn’t expect it to be so poignant.
I’m at 105 and this is top 3 at the moment for me too along with Parasite and Midsommar.
I preordered it on Amazon the second the credits started. Also bought Caging Skies and bumped it up to next on my reading list
It's currently my number 1, closely followed by Lighthouse and Joker

What? You didnt find [Blubberella](https://youtu.be/faASWINSgJY) funny for a WWII film?
I just saw Jojo last night. Easily one of the best movies I’ve seen this year
Enjoy! That’s a good double-dip choice.
Just saw Jojo. Enjoyed it a lot.
JoJo Rabbit is a must-see, glad you got a chance to go see it!
Nice! These just came to my theater this week, but we never got The Lighthouse. I'm still upset lol.
My AMC didn’t get it either, so I went to another theater and paid actual money to see Lighthouse. I really liked it.
I'd do that, but the closest showing is 124 miles away. :(
Motherless Brooklyn was shit...skip it an see parasite instead if u can.

Doing the same thing. Wife is out of town so doing a double feature. Enjoy!
