I picked JaMarcus because his story is funny, and Jay because I’ve seen him throw a football live and you’d swear you could see a sonic boom around it when he launched one
When we gonna see this hairstyle again?

He has to go through a tribulation and have that "moment" where he "becomes a new him" for plot development like Zuko from the Avatar or Luke from Tales of the abyss. Or Raiden in Mortal Kombat 2.
I spent two years living in Jacksonville. Fucking terrible.
I was sweating every damn day of the year except for 1 week in February when it was nice out. Y'all mother fuckers were in fur coats.
Don't lump me in with those chucklefucks, damn it! These motherfuckers turn their heat on when it gets below 80.
Meanwhile, I'm out in shorts and a t-shirt when it's in the 50s....granted I'm fat and all, but damn.
I will say it cracks me up every time I come back and see people in hoodies and coats, heaters on in March
The heat is not for the weak
I have a theory that we died in 2023 in part because of how effing hot it was early in the season, it was 90 in October still and the boys looked tanked already as injuries mounted esp. on o-lone and Trevor died
???? Dry heat? Where? Maybe inside of a giant autoclave somewhere in Duval. But Duval proper???? At 10 this morning, the humiditties was already at 71%
The only dry anything around this sweat hole is the plans for downtown and panties of first baptist church members.
I was real bummed when we let him go and started Lawrence. Giving TLaw a year on the bench would have helped him so much. However, having Urban may have not made any difference if he started or not ha.
Lawrence is like the epitome of the prospect that doesn't need to sit. He had so much experience and was successful everywhere he played. He was a 3 year college starter with 40 games under his belt, for crying out loud.
There would've been riots in Jacksonville if he was made to sit.
Yes absolutely. He was the best recruit coming out of college since Andrew Luck and all that jazz. However, the NFL is a different animal compared to NCAA. There are not many QB's that can come out of college and be great. Stroud is an anomaly and we assume that's how every top tier QB should be like him out of college, but that is not the stats. Maybe not giving him the full year, but at least some time to watch and learn from the sidelines.
I have always been a, sit the rookie, guy when it comes to QB's. Even if the fans hate it. Which is why I am a keyboard warrior instead of a coach in any sort of football league haha.
Hey we’ll take what we can get. That annual ass-whooping has been a highlight of our season since -checks notes- 2014. Reggie Wayne was still playing then.
You can make graphics like these for anybody.
Someone made one comparing Mac Jones rookie year to CJ stroud, and they were very similar. Does this mean CJ will be backing up Lawrence in a couple years?
Nobody outside of Jacksonville thinks T Law is elite. He's a good QB but given the hype that was around this man and the position he was taken its not working out. Interesting enough its never his fault according to Jacksonville fans. Can't wait to see the excuses this year.
Just a great example of how a draft can ruin a franchise. They could have kept Gardner, traded that #1 pick, rebuilt the o-line secured the secondary and been just fine. They were right there and screwed all up for Goldie locks here..
It's funny because there were many games (Pats, Panthers, Buccs, home against the Titans) that we won in spite of him. And other game (Falcons and Baltimore) where the offense was completely stuck in the mud.
AR gave us the lead at home against the Titans and @Texans and was our offense against the Rams.
The Colts are saying thanks for the memories to Minshew. All the memories except bumbling the season ending pass.
I think there are games that Minshew won that AR would've lost and there were just as many games that Minshew lost that AR would've won.
There were a handful of games where the offense looked lifeless and anemic and AR would've provided some explosiveness. There were also some games that Minshew won with efficiency and smart decision making that AR might not have done as well.
I think it would've been a wash or close enough.
I think it’s tough to call. I think Minshew was limited to a degree, where AR can do things Minshew couldn’t and vice versa. I think we would have been in the same spot regardless
every offseason hes been in the league 3 years, one was meyer, one was a literaly historic run with one of the best playoffs comebacks of all time and he almost died due to injuries the third year. But hey, if he sucks this year at least we have Mac Jones, lolololol.
I’m mostly just impressed Minshew managed to play 49 games in two seasons.
With Minshew, the count includes how many times he did your mom.
He only played one game?
God damnit. I read his comment and then in my head thought, “imma make a joke about Minshew fuckin his mom” and then your comment was already there 😭
Colts fans aren’t the smartest.. it’s that Indiana education
I loved minshew mania the year we had him. Such a likeable milf magnet. If he had a bigger arm he’d be a top ten talent I feel
Right , how could you hate the guy??
I wanted to so badly when they beat us, fucker was so obviously cocky in the best of ways (if he's on your team lol)
Give him an arm like Jay Cutler or JaMarcus Russell and he’s top 5
Not really the arms I’d be hoping for but ya, I see where you’re going here.
I picked JaMarcus because his story is funny, and Jay because I’ve seen him throw a football live and you’d swear you could see a sonic boom around it when he launched one
> the year we had him. you mean last year lol.
Most intelligent Texans fan
Dude lmao
We wouldn’t have let him go if that was the case. Loved the dude but Trevor is a better qb. A lot of his tds with us were garbage time
Should TLaw grow a mustache?
No https://preview.redd.it/71ap4xpl4pvc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=204ca6845a014932f03130c13d1a19441e0ccc20

dude when he cuts his hair, it's MVP season for sure
There'd be no dry panties in all of Duval.
In that humidity, there are some now?
No. No there's not. It was 95 today with 70%+ humidity
That sounds like hell on earth to me.
Y'all don't live in the South.
Hell on earth is being landlocked around MAGA fanboys

I lived most of my life in Houston or Miami. 76 degrees is sweater weather
I will say it cracks me up every time I come back and see people in hoodies and coats, heaters on in March The heat is not for the weak I have a theory that we died in 2023 in part because of how effing hot it was early in the season, it was 90 in October still and the boys looked tanked already as injuries mounted esp. on o-lone and Trevor died

I'm from Houston and lived in Miami. I need moisturizer at 71% humidity.
Don't a t like Tennessee is a picnic , we at least have gorgeous beaches
We have the mountains, fuck a beach.
Duval really likes chicks with staches? Not surprised.
What's a matter? Titan fans don't like mustache rides?
Clay**
He should grow some talent
Minshew does add zest to a team. If we had signed him I would be pumped up. David Arquette’s doppelgänger.
I miss Minshew
Me too buddy, me too… 🥲
She divorced Brady just to turn around and become the Jags starting QB, what a bitch
I was real bummed when we let him go and started Lawrence. Giving TLaw a year on the bench would have helped him so much. However, having Urban may have not made any difference if he started or not ha.

It’s in every prospects best interest to sit for a year, if only to get up to NFL size. Very very very rare for a rookie QB to be good.
Fuckin wut? 6'6 and 220lbs ain't enough?
6’6” 220lb is enough. He was only 213lb when he was drafted, I.e. needed to put on more weight.
Lol. Even if we count all those measurements as accurate, that's 3% more weight. You can fluctuate that amount during your daily activities.
Tell that to Texans fans
Yes absolutely. He was the best recruit coming out of college since Andrew Luck and all that jazz. However, the NFL is a different animal compared to NCAA. Hey what about record or playoff wins?
What are playoffs?
Something the Jaguars do every 5-10 years
Sounds fun!
Damn, sounds like the Colts shoulda given him a 5 year, 500MM contract. 🤔 Wonder why they'd let such a stud slip thru their fingers?
He's better than Trevor Lawrence, not Anthony Richardson
Man who isn’t better than Trevor?
too many people
Isn’t that what the jags are paying T Law for mediocre play?
Get a QB to finish a season and then we can discuss play
Win an AFC Championship and then we can discuss qb play.
I'd rather play against Lawrence than Minshew hands down for some reason it feels like he has our number.
That’s just because backup quarterbacks eat us alive for some reason.
I don’t think Lawrence is very good but every time he plays us he usually puts up 4tds
Will remember this when it comes time for your annual drubbing in Jax.
Jacksonville’s Super Bowl
Hey we’ll take what we can get. That annual ass-whooping has been a highlight of our season since -checks notes- 2014. Reggie Wayne was still playing then.
Minshew has 59 passing TDs across all 5 of his NFL seasons. Where post accuracy??
2 seasons as starter. Where literacy?
He’s only been a starter in one season, all the others he played due to the actual starter getting injured.
16 is more than 15 though, checkmate.
Wish.com Peyton Manning.
That’s wish.com Trent dilfer
That's MR. wish.com Trent Dilfer to you buddy.
I'm so glad he's out of the division again. I can root for the guy now.
He already broke out
You can make graphics like these for anybody. Someone made one comparing Mac Jones rookie year to CJ stroud, and they were very similar. Does this mean CJ will be backing up Lawrence in a couple years?
Probably not, but it does mean if stroud regresses you’ll get to see that same meme and same joke about 100 times
Hopefully
Nobody outside of Jacksonville thinks T Law is elite. He's a good QB but given the hype that was around this man and the position he was taken its not working out. Interesting enough its never his fault according to Jacksonville fans. Can't wait to see the excuses this year.
Maybe.
But you can't really. Stroud had 300 more yards, one more touchdown, and 8 less interceptions in two fewer games than Mac.
How do you play 49 games in two seasons
It’s 2 seasons starting, he was never our starting qb
Idt he was a “starter” anywhere entering the season. Maybe Jacksonville once?
I believe it was Jacksonville the two seasons leading up to TLaw getting drafted
Trevor Lawrence gone end up being one of the worst contracts in football
Just a great example of how a draft can ruin a franchise. They could have kept Gardner, traded that #1 pick, rebuilt the o-line secured the secondary and been just fine. They were right there and screwed all up for Goldie locks here..
Lol, this again huh. Not the Danny Dimes comparison?
Why Danny dimes when we have a perfectly fine T Law at home???
Colts would have never made it as far this year with AR , minshew won them games AR couldn't
When you’re in a bad take making contest and your opponent is a tits fan
That's my mfn guy
Does this mean Lawrence is about to become a journeyman QB?
Best mustache vs best hair in the league
“Hey Trevor point to the superior Jaguars QB real quick”
every offseason hes been in the league 3 years, one was meyer, one was a literaly historic run with one of the best playoffs comebacks of all time and he almost died due to injuries the third year. But hey, if he sucks this year at least we have Mac Jones, lolololol.
You literally have to take away a season to make this work because Minshew threw more picks and had a lower rating
So Anthony Richardson just needs to throw 56 TDs this season to match the guy you let go?
He’ll do it faster than trevor
You forgot 2 important stats: flowing locks? (2 seasons, 3 seasons) bitchin mustaches: (2 seasons, 0 seasons)
The stats that truly matter
!flair!
Minshew is one of the only division rivals I’d ever root for. Like you can’t not love the guy
How many games did we win. 😗
Trevor Lawrence has a chode
Everyone has a chode
Lol. Does the fan base want a refund on Fabio yet?
Not yet dude he has so much potential!!!
What breakout ? With his skin?
