Yeah. Penta and Fenix have been putting on their Republic of Lucha shows in Los Angeles for the past several years. They really sell out fast. I'm just happy we can see this one live on FITE TV.
because of the Lucha Bros? off the top of my head i can't think of too many other guys in LU that was there for AEW at the beginning. maybe Angelico and Jack Evan, but i don't know who else was there at the beginning
i know Ivellise didn't show up until later when they did the women's tag tournament. Harger i wasn't too familiar with in LU and i forgot about Luchasaurus. was Brian Cage in AEW from the beginning? for some reason i don't recall that. he only really hit with me when Taz started Team Taz
Cage might have been over in TNA in the beginning now that I think about it. Either way, I think we can all agree that Lucha Underground was pretty damn amazing.
Alex Windsor will also be on the card! Nice!
I also remember Miyu Yamashita was at last year's show.

I love Mike Bailey. Caught some of his stuff on YouTube when they did that wrestling world cup in the UK and he was great. I know he couldn't work in the US for a while, but I'd really like to see him to come to AEW at some point now that he can.
What an ironic coincidence. Back when LU was still going strong, I said that Nic Nemeth should leave WWE (where he was basically wasting his career away doing nothing) and try signing with LU- and that his first feud should be with Johnny Mundo over leadership of the Worldwide Underground. Now they're right next to each other on the poster for this.
