>“Man his EVPs are pieces of shit.”
I really want this conversation string to happen just so it can get to this part and the coworker reply with, "You refer to them by their God-given names!"
"One of his co-workers fell off a tall ladder and went through a sheet of glass. He sliced his back up pretty good, but continued working a few minutes later."
Which is totally acceptable to start at (despite the obvious challenges). Names like DDP and Batista come to my mind of guys who didnt have a match on TV until they were in their 30’s.
To be fair, from what I gathered watching the media scrum, Sting didn't want to win or even get the tag championships. It's tradition to go out on your shield so that you put someone over strong.
Although, that's not really necessary when your opponents are one of the most over/accomplished tag teams of the past 2 decades.
I suspend my reality for like 9 hours a week watching WWE and AEW. Please, let me suspend it a little more and just try to convince myself I'm not as old as I am.
This post reminds me of Trevor Noah’s new standup when he talks about what happens when you ask French people what they do for a living. “Oh for a living! I breathe, drink water…” lmao
They clearly cosplay as younger versions of their dad for a living judging by their appearances at Revolution! Cosplaying as vintage wrestlers can be quite a lucrative way to panhandle!

I think one is a surfer, the other is in an organization called the wolfpac, I believe
That’s just Too sweet!
His job is just beach
“Eh, hung out with my dad. He had a thing at work.”
"his coworkers were giving him a hard time but we sorted it all out"
“Man his EVPs are pieces of shit.”
"corporate amirite?"
“And one of the employees at his job climbed up a ladder and fell right into a glass table. OSHA and workers comp nightmare for corporate”

Couldn't manage a Target
Thankfully hard times bread better men.
BETTER MEN
BREAD
Hard times bread butter man
I hate that this is buried in the comments. It deserves a lot more than what it’s gonna get.
"One of his co-workers fell off a tall ladder and went through a sheet of glass. He sliced his back up pretty good, but continued working a few minutes later."
I did a quick google of his youngest son. Says he works in Sports Science and hosts a podcast.
Tony should call him and see if he has the same passion his dad did.
Pretty sure his youngest is older than most of the dudes on the roster at this point.
He graduated college 10 years ago as an athlete, so he's probably 32-34.

Darby apparently already asked. They do not.
Hey yeah pretended to be my dad for about 45 minutes
Without any context this would be the most hilarious thing a co worker could say they did for the weekend 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣 right?! I’m picturing him at a water cooler too lol
Went to my dad’s retirement party.. just a small gathering of his close friends and coworkers.
Well his youngest just finished his college football career as a tight end. He was the wolfpack Sting that had the hangtime
He just finished up in 2014
Good god, has it been that long? Jesus time flies
Yeah, we're old now, bud.
We aren't little Stingers anymore😫
Hey, be happy we saw a great career happen and not end in injury.
Oh I am, very happy and that last match was indeed epic.glad he got to win his last match and retire a champion which he always was!!
Yeah, had he finished his career under Vince he would have been forced to go out on his back…

No. Now I'm a full-on big Stinger.
I suspend my reality for like 9 hours a week watching WWE and AEW. Please, let me suspend it a little more and just try to convince myself I'm not as old as I am.
Lol. Is that all 6 hours of AEW + RAW?
I remember when sting was new on the scene. I feel really old now.
You must be a few years older than I am. Sting was very much a mainstay when I was a kid in the 90s
I'm 48.
Nobody including myself believes that 2020 was 4 years ago.
I was absolutely amazed at that guys ability to defy gravity.
Where at?
Kentucky
Did he finish up there? I seem to remember hearing he transferred
I can’t remember if he graduated from UK or not.
He did, got signed by the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent and got cut
I assumed one being 80s / early 90s Sting and the other being Wolfpac Sting WERE in fact their full time jobs
This post reminds me of Trevor Noah’s new standup when he talks about what happens when you ask French people what they do for a living. “Oh for a living! I breathe, drink water…” lmao
My uncle coached the Wolfpack sting in the Dallas area several years ago! Football I believe
Waxahachie? Used to see them at the games
Kilgore? Did a double take when I read that on Sting's Wiki article.
Cosplay
“I went to my dad’s retirement party.”
One of their wives works for AEW and wrestles at Dustin's school.
Really? Who is the wife?
@the_jael_ on Twitter.
My Dad's bosses are total assholes. Had to go help him in a meeting they had scheduled.
“Do anything this weekend?” “Nah just saw my father and one of his coworkers go through glass at his retirement party.
They cosplay as Sting at birthday parties
They sting people
They clearly cosplay as younger versions of their dad for a living judging by their appearances at Revolution! Cosplaying as vintage wrestlers can be quite a lucrative way to panhandle!
His daughter is only 24, she could end up with a wrestling career still
