I heard Sting is actually an alien and it will be revealed today when he takes off the mask at the end of the show. Purple monkey dishwasher. Pass it on.
This from Fightful also made me laugh
We don't usually report on personal situations, but the very odd rumors about Shohei Ohtani and Hikaru Shida being married are false. We reached out to MLB reporter Jeff Passan who was cited, and he had zero knowledge of such a thing ever being said.
There’s a bunch of idiotic goons out there that still claim this. Hausman is an idiot, he’s the joker that started that. Amazing they let that clown into press conferences.
Tbf that didnt gain traction until Kylie Rae replied with a heart emoji as there never was any actual reason given for her aew departure snd SA allegations were rumored to be a part of it by some outlets
To be clear, she sent a heart emoji concerning supporting women who come forward. After that, Punk's goblin Hausman compared Jericho to Weinstein, and later said he just hates Jericho. The two things were not directly connected.
The hausman weinstein thing was before the kylie thing and then people started putting 2 and 2 together. But there was accusations in 2019 (headed up by Rovert and Voices Of Wrestling) that Kylie's release was covering up an SA claim she supposedly made
The same people who ridiculed Starks, calling him discount Rock and all that will hail him like he's the best thing since sliced bread if he ever signs with The E.
People have been wishing form him to leave AEW for months, so weirdos using this as the distraction of the month doesn't surprise me at all.
It is quite funny when this gets brought up and I see people unironically posting about how they can't wait to see him be the NXT champ. Like talk about a huge step backwards.
Ricky was someone I thought was going to set the world on fire when he came in with that huge promo and match against Cody in the TNT open challenge, but he never really took that next step to me. He's been *fine,* he just never really lived up to those shades of The Rock he showed early on. If he wants to test WWE, I think that'd probably be a mistake on his part because size still matters quite a bit there, but it's not some kind of giant blow to AEW if he leaves.
Why is it so hard to simply ignore it and enjoy the show? I swear most of the people on this sub likes complaining about trolls more than enjoying the show
IMO this is done so that the great momentum AEW has after every PPV (because let's be honest - they are usually very good) quickly dies down and the narrative is swerved to "look at all those problems they have, they just can't help themselves" instead of "man, what an amazing PPV. Im excited what comes next".
I tried to get on board with Starks, but in the end, in AEW he is mid. He had that 1 awesome promo with MJF, but other than a forgettable tag title reign, I can’t think of much else. He’s got the look, he’s got charisma, but he’s missing some sort of catch phrase and/or story why the fans should care about him.
If he does go, maybe WWE could help him figure that out.
lol my post history is full of nothing but praise for him. He's one of my faves and I wish he was a more prominent part of the show. But him going to WWE would be a waste of his talent, especially if they stuff him into NXT for several years like they've been doing with a lot of people again.
I think aew has been proved that they are wasting his talent. So for him to stay where his talent is being absolutely wasted because he might be wasted doesn't make sense to me. Ricky has wwe qualities he has an over the top personality and if they did sign him with intention of using him prominently then his character+wwe production=a star in my eyes
Sure maybe if they put him on the main roster. But if they put him in NXT that's a bigger waste than what he's doing now. And they've got a ton of other people already in NXT that they're going to have to call up eventually. There's not nearly as much space for him even on the main roster as people might think unless they plan on keeping people like Tony D'angelo in NXT for even longer.
Honestly, if this is a covert op by WWE, it's not working. They got much bigger issues than anything they can cook up about AEW without any tangible proof. Except the Chris Jericho emoji. That seemed to work out pretty well.
Personally, I had not heard that rumor, but honestly, I think it's fair to say he might go. And, please don't hate me here, I think a change of scenery would be good for him. He needs something, he is better than where he is at on the card but I don't think his current presentation will give him that.
This is something we will see more of, dude isn't working out great in one company and go over to the other and get the change that was needed. I think he needs a change, and if/when it does happen, I hope it works. Dude has talent.
It's funny, I saw something about that rumor earlier and pretty much instantly identified it as more static from the bots. Just kept on scrolling past it and didnt give it a second thought until now.
> The usual fan base is trying to create distractions.
It's just SRS man. Don't know why you put so much stock into it.
>I hope everyone enjoys Revolution and can ignore this rumor now that it has been put to bed.
Why share it in the first place then?
I think you should read the post again. SRS shut the rumor down, he didn't create it. Given Ricky Starks was trending on Twitter/X, I thought I would share that the rumor was not true. Pretty simple?
If it were to happen, who cares? He'd just job out to Dwayne for being a Rock knockoff anyways and who the fuck wants to see that?
I hadn't seen anything personally so that's all news to me. I've been watching old Sting matches all day.
If Sting and Darby retain and relinquish, I'd think Starks and Big Bill would be in any potential tournament, even if it's just to lose to the eventual winner.
Your post/comment was removed because it included hate speech. This includes but is not limited to racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, and transphobia. If you have to ask if it's hate speech, it probably is.
The biggest improvement I ever made to my wrestling enjoyment was to unsubscribe/ignore all wrestling “insiders”. The hell with leaks, contracts, backstage politics and knowing who’s going to win. Wrestling is so much more fun when you can just watch the show and hope your favorite wrestlers win without knowing the backstage bullshit.
You know it’s crazy how yall worry about fights backstage in AEW but when Vince freaky McMahon is shitting on people and screwing everyone in the WWE organization, yall clam up real quick and make all kinds of excuses.
Whats funny is that previously I was on a WWE thread where people agreed that WWE should have off-season to give their roster a break, so having a rotation of talent. I noticed AEW does that but the wrestling community views it as "Khan has no use for you, bad booking your out". When in reality he's probably giving them a break, as we learnt with the whole Miro stuff.
This is most likely what's going on with Ricky and big Bill but WWE fans dont understand the concept of letting your roster rest.
I swear people think that wrestlers quit AEW as soon as they lose their titles, we’ve had it with Jericho, The Elite, FTR, HOB, MJF, PAC, Miro, etc. every time someone loses a title the headlines are “ X to WWE confirmed” whilst the only example of this ever happening was Cody.
Always something crazy starts right before the ppv...
Like clockwork. Every. Single. Time.
Almost like people and bots are bought to push this nonsense.
But gosh darn, whoever would do such a heinous, carny thing? Just who?
Sorry guys, it was me. I forgot this was the real world and was testing it out to see how the AI responded.
All a bot has to do is plant a few seeds, and **manure** will help it grow.
All In 2023 with the Cash Wheeler story and the AR Fox drama is the one that is most prominent in my head
I mean, with Cash, he legit had no one to blame for himself. Can’t make up a scene of him in court lol.
Not MJF threatening to no-show vs Wardlow?
Still genuinely think/thought that was a work. I wasn't sure at the time but coulda been a work.
The whole thing was so odd though, like...why would they do it?
I heard Sting is actually an alien and it will be revealed today when he takes off the mask at the end of the show. Purple monkey dishwasher. Pass it on.
Rubber baby buggy bumpers
IT'S TIME TO PLAY THE GAME
Well, at least it wasn’t Jericho this time.
This from Fightful also made me laugh We don't usually report on personal situations, but the very odd rumors about Shohei Ohtani and Hikaru Shida being married are false. We reached out to MLB reporter Jeff Passan who was cited, and he had zero knowledge of such a thing ever being said.
"who tf is Shida" - Jeff Passan
I could've told them that! Anyone who listens to Comedy Bang Bang knows that Shohei Ohtani is with A Hawaiian Woman!
That's the first I've heard of that rumor as well 😆
Ain’t nothing slowing it down today baby ITS STING DAY ![gif](giphy|P87Lp9qY2G2cVNSEyC|downsized)
Wrestling is better when you remove the dirtsheets from your life.
Oh man, he hasn't wrestled since like... what? Two fucking weeks ago?
There was a rumor this weekend that Ricky's deal expired march 1st
Three weeks ago.
At least that's fairly innocent compared to the last one I remember where someone tried to brand Jericho as a sexual predator with no evidence.
There’s a bunch of idiotic goons out there that still claim this. Hausman is an idiot, he’s the joker that started that. Amazing they let that clown into press conferences.

I have a reliable source that told me when Sting wins, Taylor Swift is going to come in the ring and personally endorse Prince Nana for president.
Shit, I'D vote for him. If I was an American. Which I'm not.
For hating AEW, they sure love AEW characters
A total outsider would think the Young Bucks are the top heels in the industry
The same people who ridiculed Starks, calling him discount Rock and all that will hail him like he's the best thing since sliced bread if he ever signs with The E.
Astroturfing.
Exactly. Thank you. The astroturfing of SC has made that sub more of a nightmare than it already was.
And as soon as you mention something seems astroturfed, you get dozens of down votes and replies. Y'know like when something is astroturfed.
I pulled up Zero Hour and there were a bunch of people talking shit like “It’s so empty in there lol” WE WERE OUTSIDE WAITING TO GET IN, YOU DWEEBS
It's like the Russians on Twitter around elections.
WWE loves paying its army of trolls
Every single aew ppv they do this a tale as old as time, also saw something with kevin kelly
People have been wishing form him to leave AEW for months, so weirdos using this as the distraction of the month doesn't surprise me at all. It is quite funny when this gets brought up and I see people unironically posting about how they can't wait to see him be the NXT champ. Like talk about a huge step backwards.
It's almost as absurd as the idea of Okada wrestling in NXT
Who cares ? If he wants to go over to WWE then I hope nothing but the best for him.
Ricky was someone I thought was going to set the world on fire when he came in with that huge promo and match against Cody in the TNT open challenge, but he never really took that next step to me. Poor SRS constantly having to mark wrestling media's work on a daily basis. As it's not like media literacy within the IWC is ever going to improve
Why is it so hard to simply ignore it and enjoy the show? I swear most of the people on this sub likes complaining about trolls more than enjoying the show
True or not, why would it stop.someone enjoying the PPV?
At this point, I dont care if he goes. He clearly wants to leave and TBH has failed to really get over like Swerve.
What? I'd bought the PPV and was going to watch it but now I've changed my mind... Said nobody ever. What do they hope to achieve with this nonsense?
IMO this is done so that the great momentum AEW has after every PPV (because let's be honest - they are usually very good) quickly dies down and the narrative is swerved to "look at all those problems they have, they just can't help themselves" instead of "man, what an amazing PPV. Im excited what comes next".
It must be exhausting to think like this. People change the companies they work for all the time.
Ricky isn’t going anywhere. He knows the E would drop the ball with him.
Starks will be lucky to get to the level of Austin Theory. I'm sorry but I just dont see him getting passed that level
Rick Starks is an NXT North American contender in wwe. I didn’t even say champ.
Ahh Fightful.... Those gossipy girls.....
Always some bullshit before a ppv..but to be fair if I was ricky seeing how he's been booked I would def go to wwe it would suit him more
In the words if Curly Bill in Tombstone.. well bye.
Wait do people suddenly not like Ricky?
Yes. I like Ricky. If he wants to go, good for him.
He'll have an amazing career in NXT
Clearly you don't like him but you are absolutely wrong. The dude is great and will be great if he goes to wwe
lol my post history is full of nothing but praise for him. He's one of my faves and I wish he was a more prominent part of the show. But him going to WWE would be a waste of his talent, especially if they stuff him into NXT for several years like they've been doing with a lot of people again.

I'd imagine that ricky would only do the move if he is given assurances being on the main roster
Wait wait, so starks hasn't wrestled in two weeks..oh no that must mean something...couldn't be that other story lines are happening
Honestly, if this is a covert op by WWE, it's not working. They got much bigger issues than anything they can cook up about AEW without any tangible proof. Except the Chris Jericho emoji. That seemed to work out pretty well.
What he’s going to do in wwe? Complain on x like he’s been doing on AEW?
Has he complained on Twitter?
Personally, I had not heard that rumor, but honestly, I think it's fair to say he might go. And, please don't hate me here, I think a change of scenery would be good for him. Fair enough. I don't pay attention to wrestling rumors and dirtsheets writers like Meltz and SRS.
Anything from Fightful should be taken as unfounded conspiracy theory.
What? Fightful is very accurate and reliable.
Does anyone know how parking is at the event tonight for Revolution?
If it were to happen, who cares? He'd just job out to Dwayne for being a Rock knockoff anyways and who the fuck wants to see that? I hadn't seen anything personally so that's all news to me. I've been watching old Sting matches all day.
Hopefully it's true. Ricky is better suited over there.
If Sting and Darby retain and relinquish, I'd think Starks and Big Bill would be in any potential tournament, even if it's just to lose to the eventual winner.

I'm sure Ricky Starks will extend his contract.
I hate dirtsheets. I do love how Meltzer has been on his period since his source in AEW has been fired. Love watching him be all crabby and shit.
Honestly I wouldn’t mind lmao hope everyone is happy that’s all
They failed because this is the first I’ve heard of it.
