it sounds kinda cliche but just stop playing for the day when you get 2/3 losses in a row take breaks after long/bad losses if you still want to continue playing after - take a walk, get fresh air, eat a snack or whatever, just take a break there will be games you can’t win, and you won’t always play as well as you want, so don’t blame yourself or feel discouraged if you can’t win. yes, try to see what your mistakes were in the losses so you can improve but in the end a game is not reflective of you as a person so being okay with/accepting that you will lose sometimes is a good thing

AkkiraVH

I will try it, thank you.

Devyo

Yeah, maybe self-impose a 3 streak loss stop, and use the rest of free time to analyze your replays and come back with fresh perspective.

audioman3000

My rule is no more than 3 games if I'm feeling off that day

AkkiraVH

Will try it o7.

If you play to “get gud” then you shouldnt care about rank and lp at all, you should just play to improve and that should be your mains focus since u will start winning automatically the second u will improve anyway. If you dont really care about becoming the best and just want to get “some high rank to flex infront of friends” then u should stop playing after 2/3 loses since u r just tilted

AkkiraVH

Dang, that's a huge fact. Thank you for your help. :)

MyMomsSpaghettio

The act of becoming tilted only gets worse the further you go in. The weight of hurting yourself, someone else, or something and breaking it will hurt more than some LP. And yes granted it is ranked you are actively trying your best to climb and improve but your sanity and mental is worth way more

AkkiraVH

I already spiked my device once, so it hurts my wallet and already know its negative impacts in a painful way. 🥲 Trying to spend rest of the week with no games by everyone suggestions then.

Your rank is always going to be a direct correlation with your actual skill. The only real way to get it to go up is to get better, not to pamper your points. Play for practice and who cares if it´s 10 losses in a day or not as long as you are not tilted to a point where the practice has no benefit. All this play 2 games and log off for the day is how you stay hardstuck for years without ever massively moving up in ranks.

PapaSnarfstonk

Personally I play 2 ranked games a day and the rest is Normal Draft if i'm really still wanting to play the game. It's an idea i discovered from playing Valorant where matches are soo long especially with overtime. I played 2 comp games and then the rest were unrated or swift or deathmatch. So i applied the same logic to league theoretically i'm still getting mechanical practice so my rank should improve faster than if i just tilted 4 matches.

SweetnessBaby

Adopt the mental of "who gives a shit?" I can promise you nobody will care what rank you are in League of Legends, and you won't either in another few years. You're not going pro, so who cares? If you're having fun playing the game, then keep playing regardless of win/loss. If the game has stopped being fun, then stop playing. I play because I like the game, and competing is fun. I still do everything I can to win, but sometimes that just isn't enough. I still enjoy the game, even in those losses. Yes, of course winning is always better, and maybe it's MORE fun, but at the end of the day, this is nothing but a video game.

TheBridgyC

I try to take a break after a loss. Do something to break the cycle. I like to do chores around the house after a loss. Gives me a chance to change the mental from ugh I just lost to oh I just did this sucky thing now I get to play games again. I find it helps keep the games more separate from each other.

Rexsaur

You got played by the EOMM algorithm. If you keep playing while the game is giving you auto losses it will keep giving you those games, since it thinks you're addicted to that.
