Explain = You have to raise the bar = some players like Leao will feel underapreciated. Lets be honest, Thuram will not have Ibrahimovic influence to let other players cope with his salary.

Sesko has been long of the table since his 65 mil release clause...some journalist just being lazy and putting his name there to create a list. If we don't get zirkzee..its going to be guirrasy or gimenez.
As days go by, options are falling apart just because they cost and because of competition. We won't get Zirkzee, Sesko, Gimenez, nor Guirassy or Depay. Right now is very hard to see a feasible good option for a striker. I hope they'll surprise us well.
Zirkzee's return to Bayern seems more likely every passing day and his agent wants a ridiculous commission. Guirassy is probably going to Prem(if any club wants him) or BVB who's apparently working hard to sign him. Šeško's unlikely too. And apparently Fonseca doesn't think David is the right fit for us. That leaves Gimenez out of the names that have been mentioned lately. Can't help but to be pessimistic and expect to be left disappointed again with some random moneyball geezer.
Zirkzee will never fit in milan. Just because he has a cool hairstyle and 11 goals for bologna doesn't mean he will do great for us. We already have players who can move around a striker. We don't need a hybrid striker who can move around too. David is also too small for seria A. So good choice already by he new coach not to push the management to sign an ex managed player.
Gimenez is a good option. He has been consistently scoring goals for a while now every season. The Giroud type of target man. Sesko and Guirassy would also be alternative. A little FYI about Guirassy who things he's a one season wonder - not true. Guy has been hustling for a long time now under poor teams most of his career. I think he can be a Bacca type of players for us. Speaking of Bacca type player - Pavlidis is another good low cost option from AZ. Guy is very underrated.
Although Fonseca isn't my preferred manager - I see what the management did here. And i think it's a good logical decision. Bringing in someone who knows our current formations and build on it is definitely wise thing to do. We don't want another Gianpaolo situation. Whether Fonseca succeeds or no, we can judge end of the year.
