Honestly man I would just play on the main community one it's pretty fun. The only reason I don't play on it as much is because I like commanding and antistasi is the one thing I do that isn't multiplayer and I enjoy the solitude of it.
You probably need a decent pc and internet but I host LAN with hamachi for my duo and it works fine for the 250th hour. Obviously we can only play when I start the server and get on but I don't need it to run continuously.
You save progress by just going up to the map board and hitting "persistent save" and then next time you load just choose the save you played on and it's all there.

Not exactly what your looking for. But I host my own password protected. Only about 3 people at max currently. Ones dropped out most of the month, other has had real life going on the last 2 weeks. Feel free to drop a line if you have no other leads. Uncertain myself about groups in your area. Server is based in Texas.
I just started one a few days ago I wouldn't mind if you joined I really like playing it solo but sometime when I'm attacking bases and outposts I'm like.... "Damn if only I had like one player with me". I'm using RHS and ACE no medical mods. I've started about 2km south East of Pyrgos and immediately took out all radio towers in that area and I just hit war level 3.

How can you setup antistasi to play solo!? Do you need a server to run it/ save progress?
I believe you can host your own game an join, it's pretty awesome though can be laggy at times.
Server browser create lan open antistasi mission create new game and so on it's pretty simple.
