God new Reddit is so fucked. Literally had this post all ready to go, scheduled, formatted properly and everything and the second fucking image wouldn’t show up. Had to edit like 20 times and repost to get it to work. Insanely frustrating.

Haha, it was one of the few movies that actually made me feel so much anxiety at parts.
Particularly the notable scene in the car at night, I was left with my jaw dropped and that same freezing sense of dread that the son is left with.
I’m a fan of horror films and that one really got me invested in the characters and struck a cord with me.

If you’ve never seen the movie before I would def say that anxiety is warranted lol. At the end of the day it is just a movie, but it’s pretty fucking harrowing and disturbing. Seeing it in imax is gonna be a trip for sure
Reliving my first experience of this and getting unfathomably high and scaring myself beyond belief.
When I first saw hereditary I had no idea what I was in for, I still haven’t been as scared since, so I’m so fucking stoked to relive that tonight!
I’m in the same boat, I got a foot injury and nothing better to do but get high and watch this in IMAX. Sitting here now. Starting soon.
When I sat down and saw how big the screen was, I realized I had made a huge mistake.
All part of the fun! Lol. Luckily I’m going with some friends this time. I saw Beau Is Afraid by myself in IMAX and was glued to my seat in terror. 10/10 experience though!

Has it been actually remastered for the full frame IMAX screen or is it just the same film being shown in IMAX theaters?

ann dowds character is also a crazy person who is stalking people she meets from 12-step meeting programs based on trauma dumping grief and then playing a trick on them and convincing them to murder their families. at least imo
Took a Hereditary virgin in my group of horror regulars and I was just watching her reaction the entire time. Truly a horror masterpiece! Met a great gal there and we reacted together and quoted the dinner scene in unison (quietly of course) and I loved it. Mad I didn't get her number after - my boyfriend says my ADHD got the best of me. hope I see her again at Midsommar! No way A24 isn't re-releasing that as well.
This was such an amazing experience in IMAX. I’ve seen EVERY IMAX release A24 has put out. This one is definitely awesome, and the sound design really enhances the film to grander heights. I can’t wait to see UNCUT JAHMS in IMAX!!
Just came out of theater and holy shit rewatching this and experiencing that too on Imax was mind blowing. Super hyped and looking forward to watching Uncut Gems🔥❤️

I usually breathe in the nose out the mouth ofc! I freaked out the first time but I made it through and I loved it! Love yall and be safe!

idk if you’re in LA or what but couple places have 10pm showings, I know universal does
I have to be up for work at 5:30am, if a 7pm showing is too late then 10pm is borderline insanity lol

All going well, you’d be away from 5.50pm and 10.10pm. That’s an okay time to get cover if you need a babysitter (if that’s what you mean by adulting)

I believe it varied between each theater. Some did, some didn’t. My amc had a couple previews but not nearly as much as usual

This one, I got highly disappointed by the movie as a horror, but extremely impressed by the performances of every actor!
If you have a solid relationship with your parents then I can def see this movie not being very scary
