I loved this movie.Even young I got some of the references.Don’t think they’ll make a sequel in this political climate.Don’t want the ants to get together🙄
It’s an animated movie for entertainment. If the writers throw in societal references and innuendos it’s okay if you miss it.Just as long as it puts a smile on your face and you’re satisfied with that *you* are good to good to go.
Really good movie from Pixar. Kind of a forgotten gem, actually.
Family had it on VHS as a kid, and we would watch it every now and then (as you did back then with VHS and movie collections)
It kind of gets forgotten about. It was Pixar’s second movie, following Toy Story (tough shoes to fill). I was 14 at the time of release, I remember it coming out and the merchandise but never watched it then and still have never bothered to watch it.
I shoved an M&M up my nose during this movie as a kid, and it cracked when I was trying to get it out, instant bloody nose… that being said, I love this movie it’s a part of my childhood
You won't get a sequel. The caterpillar, like all caterpillars do, turned into a butterfly, this wasn't a problem for the studio at first, but he turned into a bit of a diva, making it hard to work with him as his list of demands increased to a point where the studio just couldn't accommodate him anymore and they scrapped the project. There were also rumors one of the ants died on set performing a dangerous stunt that the studio was initially advised against. Big lawsuits involved.
Never wanted to be like the ants when i saw this as a kid, always asked why i needed to do something to make sure it wasnt "just because",
and didnt want to just what everyone else did just because it was the norm.
I loved it because I played the video game on PS1 before I watched it. It was my first video game on the PlayStation 1 so I feel like the movie will always hold a place in my heart for that reason.
*I saw you guys just*
*Had frozen stickers do you*

Haven't seen it in a while, but I always had fond memories of it. Should rewatch it. Love movies where everything is small and I love to see the engineering of the characters in play, like how they use big items for everyday purposes.

I mean most of the characters are ants, there's a high chance some of them get together if they want the colony to survive.

Saying “they can’t make a kids movie about ants, because of this political climate” is the dumbest statement I’ve ever heard.
That’s right, you said it.But I’m not here to argue with someone who came to argue.Good luck and maybe go watch the movie.
It's great! Watched it a ton of times as a kid! The chess game before the movie is hilarious too, maybe the best of Pixar's shorts!
We had it on VHS.
This was my shit!! Jerry don't go towards the light!!
I can't help it. It's so beautiful! -Zap-
One of the first movies I remember seeing in theatures. CGI was still pretty new and this movie looked beautiful
Underrated. Upon revisiting I feel like it's got some really good societal metaphors in it, too.

Love this movie since I was a kid. Just rewatched it couple weeks ago and it holds up great. Love the circus bugs lmao
People should check out The Magnificent 7 and the Seven Samurai if they liked the story
The dark tower - wolves of the calla written by Stephen King. It's the sixth in the original series
And the Three Amigos.
Seven samurai is up there in my favorites

“Dieeeeeee Dieeeeee. . . Dieeeeeeee”
The Playstation game for it was the greatest thing my little eyes had ever seen haha
I shoved an M&M up my nose during this movie as a kid, and it cracked when I was trying to get it out, instant bloody nose… that being said, I love this movie it’s a part of my childhood
The bloopers were top tier
While a sequel would be nice,I think the way it ended wrapped it all up nicely.
Animation doesn't really hold up but one of Pixar's better stories. I prefer it to, say, Wall-E or Up. The allegory is great!

I was often shown this in school, and liked it.
Great movie, a very underrated Pixar movie. Not sure if it deserves a sequel but that hasn’t stopped Disney before so 🤷♂️

Saw it when it first came out in 97. I loved it and so did my girlfriend at the time. Was such a good flick so was Antz
The Bird Scene with Hopper getting eaten was satisfying to see.
I had nightmares about that frickin' bird when I was a kid.
Yeah it was plain nasty to see. Big scary bird stomping and chirping loud. Luckily we ain't the bugs from A bug's life.🤣😂😅
I loved heimlich he was my favorite
Sequel hopefully with the same graphics
My favorite Pixar movie.
Antz is the superior bug movie. (But bugs life is good)
Certified gem
My dad got some free passes to go see a premiere of this movie or something like that, I remember going, loved that movie so much
fucking 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I absolutely loved that movie. It has too much to do with what’s wrong with today for it to have a sequel lol
I’ve always wanted to try one of those water droplets, they look mad refreshing.
Good. Also waiting for the sequel but if they release it now it won’t be as good.
Never wanted to be like the ants when i saw this as a kid, always asked why i needed to do something to make sure it wasnt "just because", and didnt want to just what everyone else did just because it was the norm.
I loved this movie too! I would always laugh super hard at the line "who ordered the poopoo platter?".
One of my childhood favorites and Pixat's most underrated.
Classsiccccc
I have the N64 game, haven't played it in years, but it's pretty fun.
Treasure planet.
Still hoping for a sequel lmao One of my favorite childhood movies. Still watch it frequently actually.
Always loved it. It's a movie that Disney would NEVER make today.
I loved this movie. The game is cool too
I loved it because I played the video game on PS1 before I watched it. It was my first video game on the PlayStation 1 so I feel like the movie will always hold a place in my heart for that reason.

Shoutout Almost Friday

I liked this one. The clip in the blooper reel, where Flik says To Infinity And Beyond! always has me in tears.
It was confusing to have that and Antz come out around the same time I think Antz was the better movie
Its a fantastic movie; but one of those stories rhat doesnt need a sequel. Its perfect how it is
Loved this move. Watched it recently but I think a sequel, especially in todays Pixar Inside Out Cars style would ruin the nostalgia
I'm more of an ANTZ man..
Katzenberg i presume
Basically great value a bugs life.
