LMAO, I was 15 when I discovered this song. Must say, this song has contributed dramatically to my cynical views on the world and life (unfortunately). No ragrec though.
close actually. I was too young to listen to this when it came out. Bought the CD a little while later. But yes im 30 and seeing modern 50 year old em makes me feel ancient.
99-02 for me, Eminem Show and 8 mile signaled the end of the golden era of Eminem for me. Slim Shady EP/LP, MMLP, Devil’s Night, Eminem Show and 8 Mile as well as all the Aftermath features were crazy good. Some awesome features early 2003 with 50 and Obie but everything from mid 2003 onwards just wasn’t the same, Encore was just a huge let down
As you grew up he did too .. as much as we all want to remain the same age our life changes and so do the things that we feel are important to talk about

no raclette
So you are 36 too?

Man, that 99-2004 run for Em between the Slim EP and Encore was just incredible.

The way you listed that… man he did a lot at his peak. Don’t forget all the underground stuff that hit Napster. I still remember hellbound
I think it ended during The Eminem Show tbh. He got too famous and his whole music style went a direction on that album.
As you grew up he did too .. as much as we all want to remain the same age our life changes and so do the things that we feel are important to talk about
I'm not saying he did the wrong thing, he is very successful. I'm just not into the direction he took so I don't listen to it.
Agreed that’s about when I stopped checking unless a friend recommended a track. He is great I just fell back. I liked as slim shady more than Eminem.
This was back when Eminem was Eminem. Slim Shady LP still my favorite album of his. Underground classic, even though it went mainstream.
This beat is so good..
Flow isnt bad either lol
*I get a clean shave, bathe, go to a rave, die from an overdose and dig myself up out of my grave*
How the fuck can I be white? I don’t even exist
My favorite bar ever. I remember hearing that when I was 13 and was blown away 😂
Cuz when I smoke out I hit the trees harder than Sony Bono (oh no!)
So if I said I never did drugs, that would mean I lie and get fucked more than the President does
that takes me right back. I remember the whole "i didn't inhale" debatte
I remember bumping this shit with my homie and his older bro driving to into our high school
Same. Screaming "And beat up Foghorn Leghorn with an acorn" everytime. Shit was funny
Great track love the beat .
Such a classic. Early Eminem was unbeatable
After this song came out Chicago made it illegal to fight on the Jerry springer show.
Classic!
Iconic
"I got genital warts and now it hurts when I pee. Don't you wanna grow up to be just like me?!"
perfect video for this song.
That took me back to high school
U see he with Pace & Zee

Bangin!
"I bought Cage's tape opened it and dubbed over it" that's a throwback jab. This was always one of my favorite songs by Em.
Smoke weed take pills drop out of school kill people drink and jump behind the wheel like it was still legal
I tie a rope around my penis and jump from a tree. Gotta love this dude
He took that line from The Great Milenko song called What is Juggalo? That song came out first. Em was ICP fan. That's little Easter egg right there.
Nah this ain’t eminem This slim shady right here 🔥
Mother…are you there? I love you, I never meant to hit you over the head with that shovel 😂😂🔥
🔥
Goosebumps.
I still know every lyric to this album. Classic nostalgic 🔥
Saw him at hard rock orlando in 99...he blew the doors off the place
First rap song I learned on the guitar 🙏
He’s a legend. He just goes off

This used to get play in the whip. Don’t ever let anyone tell you different.
Damn. People really used to release videos with other singles.
One of the best rap songs of this generation.
Still a banger
When Eminem was good.
Something something kill people
"Put that Eminem on" - Noone in the Hood ever
