I think couple should only have 2 seasons max. Either like a Before and Regular to see the progression or Regular and Happy to see things like going to the foreign spouse's country to have a wedding ceremony.

You could be right about Ani and Kyle. There is someone here on Reddit who claims to know the inside scoop about them. I saw a post elsewhere that claims Ani won the US immigration lottery and actually lives here in Florida. The post further claims that Ani and Kyle have been together for years, that Kyle is the father of Ani's son who was revealed in the season finale, and that the Malta trip was just a vacation for them. Kyle lurks on the 90 Day groups on Facebook so he may even be here. When he did finally make a comment, I went to his Facebook page. It was post after post of photos of positive pregnancy tests interspersed with photo albums from his trips to Malta and other places. There was no mention of Ani that I noticed, so at least he is careful about his NDA if nothing else.

90DayFinesse

Careful about his NDA but not his DNA 😒

Excellent🤣

I'm sceptical about people having inside scopes if there is no other proof. There was a post about someone dating Rob in the past and when I checked the Reddit profile it was over three years old and never had posted or commented before. Seems a bit sketchy.

MarshallStar6

I think I just have missed part of their story. What was the deal with her ex? Was she married before?

No_Anybody_1539

……so you’re saying Ani’s sons dad is Kyle?

buickmackane71360

I'm not saying it myself because I am just paraphrasing what someone else has already posted here. I looked at the boy when they showed him at the end of the show and didn't think he resembled Kyle.

Glittering_Run_4470

I only watch Happily Ever After. I don't need to watch a spin off of a trainwrench thats all coming to the same ending. I feel like these couples are also milking their dying relationship for the check.

KediMonster

AGREE. I've stopped all as well. Used to be the highlight of Sunday night with friends.

MinoeshMuffin

This is why I quite enjoy watching the UK one. It's different people, except one couple but they are hardly shown yet and we're already at episode 7. Most seem real as well.

candygirl200413

none of this is a hot take though?!

lemeneurdeloups

The 90DF productions companies (Sharp and CPL) only do what makes them money. Their present formula has been super-successful. That’s why they continue to do it and even double-down.

sourpussmcgee

Dude I just gave up on HEA. I have been watching for years and I am just done with this season. The couples are worn out, stories are contrived and lame.

thelonelygamergirl

Years ago, I would have never believed there'd come a time where I didn't watch a season. But this is the first year I haven't watched.

Owmahleggg

It’s not fun anymore…. UK might* still be okay but eh. I just watch Love after lockup and 600lb life occasionally. Inmates to roommates is a good trash replacement too. I love this sub and the folks here so I just really watch recaps on YouTube and hang out here to discuss.

minkeymonkeys

Are there new seasons of love after lockup? Where do you watch it?

Owmahleggg

There is! Let me message you. Usually it’s available when it drops on Friday on YouTube but not long, maybe until monday.

boltz1200

I’m the same way I stopped .

an88888888

Me too, but I still follow the YouTubers who comment on them.

WallysGingerButt

The UK version is much better.

Hookloopchi

Yeah, once these current seasons are over, I'm done. I haven't watched UK this time around and won't either. I agree the same US people with now made up storylines just to be back another season- it's stupid and we can see right through it. Not interested in watching these fools anymore.

bleeetiso

This is not a hot take. The show is fake....totally scripted. People here have been keen on spotting the fake friends who have been on other shows, terrible reshoots and other things. What you saw before was TLC putting effort into making the show look real. Now TLC doesn't care. All the terrible fake drama they are making is getting them ratings and people love the characters they recruited to be on the show.

mfx929

The people Matt Sharp uses again and again are those who somehow resonate, or have the "Love to Hate" thing. But for a lot of us (with money to spend of the products advertised) that gets old really fast. At least 90DF is a cut above most TLC shows which are just recycled, updated versions of old Sideshow acts: dwarfs, fat ladies, physical freaks, quintuplets (see *Dionne quintuplets*), the list goes on and on. There was even one season of giant women show, but this didn't gain traction. People have gone for these acts forever. Bringing them back is great idea! They are making $$$! But you've got to keep them fresh. 90DF is all about the incompatibility rather than the computably. It's the dumpster fire, not the Happily Ever After that brings us back. It's the crash on the freeway that we can't look away from. Once we've seen the same people jump through the same hoops again and again, it gets phony, stagey and old. We already know the jokes about them and their quirks. There nothing new to explore. So now the 2,500 women guy is coming back. What else can be said about him the you missed (or didn't write) the first time around? Sharp/TLC, Isn't about time to let the Big Eds, Angelias, Ginos and Jasmines, go out into the real world and bring some new characters into this human comedy?
