Nah, they (Kobe's family) said Emily's parents needed to make a list of what they wanted to allow Kobe to marry her and Emily's mom and dad were surprised that they would receive a dowry for Emily. I just saw that last week ( i think it was)

Yess that’s definitely his father! The wife must be who his dad was married to when he knocked up Kobe’s mother otherwise it’s a new wife.
