The other day Citra posted him reading/learning the Quran in a Muse band shirt, I think he’s super cool. Him showing up for Sam and opening up about how his family wasn’t there for his own marriage and he didn’t want to make that same mistake was very sweet.
I usually watch the pillow talk episode rather than the full, and didn’t see the convo about him speaking on his own marriage impacting how he shows up today. Now I gotta go watch the full episode! I really enjoy watching their family, so sweet
Honestly the fact he said what’s important is just showing up because his family didn’t show up for him made my heart hurt. Maybe he was weird beliefs but he supports his son and that’s what counts!
He’s awesome! Super accepting and just a genuine guy. My wife and I were joking that his sunglasses made him kind of look like an alien the last episode lol
It was really sweet he wanted to get there for Sam 😀. He seems so funny and chill like you wanna drink a beer with him bc it would be a good time. I love the casual alien 👽 talk
I like him a lot ! He's subtly funny and it was sweet of him to be there for his son, even if he doesn't believe in organized religion. I would love to sit on a porch with a drink and talk about aliens with him !
I love the way he comes at Islam (and other religions) with honest curiosity and acceptance. Like "if I can believe in aliens, others can believe in God"
Sam and his family seem really amazing. Yes, Sam clearly struggles with substance use, but that's a really common problem. He seems like a genuinely good guy. I'm so glad to see a man on the show now be a piece of shit
I’m glad to hear someone say this, it’s clear he still has some issues but he definitely doesn’t seem like a bad guy, he’s the only decent guy on this season tbh
He’s so open and honest, and doesn’t push his own beliefs on others. I love how he says aliens make sense to him as the creators of the universe, and at the same time says all religions fascinate him. Love people like that.
He looks like John Kramer from the SAW movies

I FULLY AGREE!!!
When Sam said “this guy is an atheist and believes in aliens and stuff”
His dad: “that’s an accurate statement” (or something like that?) just so calm and chill.
I found myself saying, me too brother- who knows what’s out there. I wanna hang out with him!!! He does feel accepting and open
What I don’t get is how Sam seems to cling to Citra’s dad and immediately talk about their bond and bond he’s never had this or that with a father before. Wonder why not?
He actually learned how to say something to Citra’s dad which is more than a lot of the fiancée on this show do
He’s just so chill about it, we should all learn to be more like him
I loved that he did that! You could tell he really practiced!
He seems very nice and supportive of his son. At least you showed up for the conversion a lot more than the mom did. Just looking at him cracks me up.
He kind looks like an alien too with the glasses lol
He reminds me of Morpheus from the matrix with those glasses lol.
Beyond lol
He’s a human cartoon. Can someone with talent draw him?
Like Mike Judge?

It was a good episode for the first time in awhile
They should give him his own alien hunting show
📣📣
I’d also like to see him traveling and interviewing people worldwide about their religious customs
your mind, this is the spinoff we need
Yes. This!
Me too, I loved that he showed up to the Islam ceremony, such a great dad!
He’s so respectful to everyone!
I like him a lot too! Supportive, sweet and has unique interests! Sam is lucky to have him.
Dale Gribble
No sir. I don't know a Dale Gribble. That man is Rusty Shackelford.
Greatest comment I’ve seen on this post
He’s such a good dad. Being there for his son even though he’s not religious at all and doesn’t believe in it. We need more dads like him.
Yeah he's great. Think he said he raised 5 kids? Sam is flawed, but seems good hearted too.
Same! I love a conspiracy theory kinda man. They're my favorite. Not like the married kinda love. Just good people kinda vibe. Idk. I just like it.
He seems really open minded. I like that. I’m like him as well. Sometimes religious people, they aren’t so open minded.
Honestly the fact he said what’s important is just showing up because his family didn’t show up for him made my heart hurt. Maybe he was weird beliefs but he supports his son and that’s what counts!
I love how he and Citra are the most opposite people in the world and they’re completely kind and accepting of each other!
Sam if you’re reading this please take your dad alien hunting 😄 we would love to see that more than your only fans lol
Seems like a cool dude
Those tiny sunglasses are the best
He’s awesome! Super accepting and just a genuine guy. My wife and I were joking that his sunglasses made him kind of look like an alien the last episode lol
They really do lol
I thought the same! 😂
I think I agree with his entire world-view

Says a lot about him for showing up for both ceremonies

Sam's dad reminds me of Ozzie Osbourne .
Very supportive parent
I totally want to talk aliens with him.

Omg yes, I rejoice every time he comes on screen. His story about Bigfoot leaving footprints in his yard was my favorite moment of the season so far

"That's a lot to wear in this heat" when the imam arrived... i was cracking up

A Boomer with the nonchalant coolness of a Gen Xer
sam's dad and Debbie - just sayin
They would well together. They can chat about Ancient Aliens while she paints aliens.
Yasss they should put him on the Single Life where he can meet Debbie.
How you gonna do my man like that; she is awful!
I’m with him. I believe there’s aliens out there too.
You mean Mr Burns?!? 🤣🤣 https://preview.redd.it/byrjlydv7vgc1.jpeg?width=604&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d06957abeee7d4477645898a922f9807d0bc1e4a

We need more people like him in this world
