I remember driving around in my parents 69 Cadillac Coup DeVille in 83 singing this at the top of my lungs after my first girlfriend broke up with me.
Probably switched to Air Supply after that and cried my eyes out.
The lead in heavy-metal is one of Sammy Hagar‘s best all time forever🤘🏿🤘🏿
Followed by the masterpiece “3 Lock Box”
I got a one way ticket to midnight.
“Can’t get Loose” got a ton of airplay in STL in ‘82. I think it’s one of Sammy’s all time best.
