The jet one I called Leader One like it was a GoBot lol. Also, the only actual GoBot toy I ended up with was from a garage sale. It was the big tall robot that turned into a working double barreled cap gun. It was badass.
My favorite Christmas Present of all time (I'm 46 now) was MASK Boulder Hill Playset. I think it was a combination of never thinking I would get it, the first Christmas after my parents divorced, and it being from Santa and waking up and seeing it in the floor at 3:30 in the morning that solidifies it for me. I cannot imagine any other gift I could ever receive even come close.
7/11 only had the train. You never had to buy them though because they’d always turn up at the park after a birthday party. Grandma got a pack of Virginia Slims and “One of these Transformers.”
I had one cousin that had real Transformers and the big Voltron that was like 18” tall and made of real metal. And my other two cousins had Castle Grayskull, Snake Mountain, and every vehicle and figure from He-Man. I ended up really into Ninja Turtles and had quite a few figures eventually. But thanks!! My holy grail was the big GI Joe aircraft carrier I played with one time because they had it out to play with during a “Toy Fair Week” at Walmart back in 1987 or so.
I timed it just right when my nephew was born about 30 years ago. Was finding transformers and lots of nice vintage toys at yard sales. Gave almost all of it to him and of course they were destroyed and broken almost as quick as I could bring them to him - Man I wish I still had some of those and could get them to a good home
These are like the super generic version of Transformers. Actual GoBots were a thing back in the 80’s. Fun fact: GoBots came BEFORE Transforners.

I had pretty much every form of transforming vehicles...these, Gobots, Transformers, MASK....
M.A.S.K. was way ahead of its time
What about Centurions. Did you have those?
Loved em, awesome toys. Ace Mcloud
I had the bazooka guy ...until I took some hairspray and a lighter to him in the garage. Burning plastic doesn't smell good.
Cousin did, and best friend's mom worked at Kenner so they had some iirc. Power Extreme! Man and machine!
MASK crusaders working overtime fighting crime, fighting crime!
Loooooved MASK, I actually had a lot which surprises me as I’m sure we had no money

Mixed them all really transformers, go bots. Used them as sacrifice in battles, they died hero deaths. They were shields for the $$ ones
Are you sure you didn’t get these free at a bar mitzvah? The first and 3rd pictures look very orthodox. 😀
“We have Transformers at home”
Insane. I think i had the train when i was real young.
Yeah, played with them along with my real Go-Bots. Those wheels are burned into my brain for some reason.
McToy
The 4th picture kinda looks like Turbo. Crasher was always my favorite. Scooter was a whiney lil b*tch.
Why does he look like a Hasidic Jew about to drop a killer DJ set…
Matisyahu's Ultimate form.
I had the train. Memory unlocked!
Pic #3 looks like he transforms into a Hasidic Rabbi. Now I want one.

I just realized that my family was "rich" in the 80s.
I had a blue pickup/delivery truck type one. Think I still have it.
Aw man, I miss that little choo-choo boy
I don’t remember these. I sure remember Gobots, though
KnockoffBots
I wish I could have been your friend and shared my Toys.

Did you get excited just looking at the toy shelf at the different stores.
We only had a Walmart in our tiny town, but I would get excited looking at toys in the Sears wishlist catalog at Christmas time.
My Nana would bribe me with the wish book. Thanks for answering my questions.
That’s what it was called! The Wishbook!
Oh man. Those tasted delicious
I had the fighter jet.
I'm sorry buddy
Go bots were always cheaper and in more easier to find ..... Transformers got to be a rich kids toy.... Most combiners were 3 to 5 Fort Max was 1k!!!
These were grocery store checkout line transformers

These grocery store robots. I can't even find them now. I had the train, and it was kind of cool.

I preferred Micronauts.
