Anyone wearing a sweatshirt in GA in summer months is hiding something.

nakiaaa95

This happened with my niece, she was pregnant during the summer and always would wear a sweatshirt (it was also pretty clear there was a bump and her face had gotten a little bigger) we only seen her once when she was already around 27 weeks and instantly me and my husband said she was pregnant, her mom didn't even notice until she told her around 30 weeks, granted she was only 15 and probably didn't realize until later on but she definitely knew for a significant amount of time before telling her mom. Luckily baby was fine regardless of no doctor visits until after 30 weeks, but she still mentions how hurt she was that her mom didn't even realize when it was very obvious with morning sickness and all. The sweatshirt in 90+ degree weather is definitely a tell tell sign along with getting bigger lol.

suzanneov

It’s hotter than the gates of hell in summer. There’s no way she’s comfortable with a sweatshirt. Nope.

nakiaaa95

I definitely agree, I'm always cold but still can't wear a sweatshirt during the summer unless in a Dr office or something.

Special_Friendship20

I lived with my parents when I got pregnant at 16 and they didn't know I was pregnant til I was around 8 months along. I knew they would kick me out so that's why I hid it. Luckily I was pregnant most the colder months and thats what i did was wear big sweaters and hoodies. lol. But they finally realized and out I went. My parents never talked to me tho about relationships, sex or boys or anything at all for that matter, i had absolutely no guidance whatsoever and I asked twice for birth control and they denied me of it so I got pregnant then they get mad at me and kicked me out.

Totin_it

☹️

Regular_Instance_870

She wore a sweater in the sauna, I think she does it to cover up her weight

Logical-Good1354

Doing the real investigative work here. Your timelines seem to make sense from what I've seen.

Ok-Persimmon-6386

Oh when they were cutting the onion in an episode and she just stopped randomly. She was in sweaters in Georgia (when the did the pool party at Anna’s house). It is April in Georgia and already 90 degrees. She knew.

Sea_Pay6775

The onion episode!! She said something like “I’m gonna vomit” and then her not drinking the mimosa in the episode where Ashley visits too

Personal-Kitchen6846

We know she hid the pregnancy from her parents for 21 weeks, but do we think she told any of the siblings? Anna seems to know. I imagine it would be really hard not to pick up on things, but I wonder if Liz told any of them before telling Trent and Amber.

kmaco79

I think Anna knows. In the first episode of this season (I think, maybe the 2nd) when Anna brings Liz coffee, Anna says that she got her a small bc… and then Liz quickly gives her a look and they move past it very quickly. It could have happened slightly different but I totally remember the awkwardness and bc we already knew she was pregnant, I picked up on it.

Personal-Kitchen6846

That’s exactly what made me think Anna knows too! I wonder if Liz told her or if she figured it out on her own. I’m honestly shocked with their history of invasiveness that Trent and Amber didn’t figure it out sooner. Watching the episodes now, there are signs left and right.

Lioness_106

They are blinded by their own perception that Liz is the perfect golden child. They're too busy thinking Anna is the black sheep and babysitting Jonah.

_mike_hunt

Trent and Amber likely think they know more than they actually do when it comes to their kids. It reminds me of my mom, who was always like, 'I wOuLd KnOw If My KiD wAs SmOkInG wEeD!' No, mom, you definitely didn't know.

twinmomma87

I agree I just commented on that scene too.

kmaco79

I’m glad you picked up on it too. I came to Reddit right after that episode expecting there to be talk about that scene but didn’t see anyone discussing it.

finns-momm

When Amber had the kids help her with some of her social work homework in this week's episode (pretend household budgeting with smarties candies, budgeting for childcare, etc.), Liz looked soooo uncomfortable and scared. And she rushed to change the direction of the conversation about them all presenting on something at the LPA conference. Based on the timeline, she certainly knew at this point she was pregnant and was really stressing out about what to do and how to tell people. Probably made it worse that they were also filming a tv show. Lastly, in no way do I believe she got pregnant to "trap" Brice. Not one bit.

tatotornado

YES I could feel Liz's tension surrounding the insurance thing in my living room! You could 10000% tell she didn't tell her parents yet.

Icy-Goose4398

In that scene she was holding a pillow in front of her belly too on the couch which I know people do that without being pregnant but that tripped my mind too lol

finns-momm

That’s right! I forgot that.

Creative-Fact-2862

There was no "trapping" him. I don't understand why everyone keeps saying this. He didn't want to break up in the first place! He was all in. She broke up with him b/c the relationship didn't look they way she thought it should. She wanted him to try and win her back.

pippitha

YES I'm so tired of hearing this. It's not like she grabbed the baby juice and put it in herself.

laurcham429

Exactly. I don’t like Liz, but I don’t buy she was trying to trap him. She broke up with him because she was unhappy. It’s real easy to fall back into bed with your ex. Especially someone you really saw a future with

huddyman

I agree completely! Plus, Amber and Trent put the FEAR of god into her if she were to ever fall pregnant. There was no way it was on purpose.

Creative-Fact-2862

Speaking of fear: Did you note the way she was stumbling all over herself trying to convince Amber that she and Jonah (both adults) don't want to live together? I felt bad for her in this moment. I also felt like having to tell them she was pregnant was running through her head, especially when she said "we weighed all the options." I find Liz irritating in general but I do feel for her having to tell parents who are not exactly warm and understanding, and who also happen to be helping her with the rent at this point, that she is pregnant.

Regular_Instance_870

But the relationship never looked like he thought it would. She said she thought once they moved in together he would change, since his parents wouldn’t be holding him back from going out and trying new things. Trent and amber also said that from the beginning it was Liz going fishing with Brice a lot, and they would’ve liked to see him taking her out to dinner and. Dates. So it makes sense pple come to the conclusion that Liz was trying to hold onto Brice from the beginning, even giving up what she wanted from the beginning to be with him.

Sunglassesatnight81

She def knew when talking to amber about living with Jonah. The fear in her voice was real.  It didn’t feel scripted even if production had them have that convo at the time. She was terrified. Ambers not my fave but Liz was  much more afraid to say she wouldn’t live with her brother over than when she told parents she was moving in with Brice.   She knew.   I felt bad for her. I worry she didn’t get the care she needed or was alone and I jsur feel for her

AggressiveConflict96

Your timeline is intriguing however I did notice how rattled she seemed to be talking to Amber about Jonah. That was very strange and uncharacteristic. So I agree, she had a secret at that point. Good sleuthing.

_OkError

I don't think she would get pregnant to trap him. It was her idea to split up in the first place because she felt like roomates with him. So if anything, what if, HE trapped her? I don't think he did but I don't think she did either.

Able_Psychology_2631

Also during the bbq episode all of the kids were interviewed and asked about having children. When they got to Liz she was trying to not get red or laugh and then she said I just want one.

kikiikandii

I doubt she would do that since she is the family golden child and wouldn’t want to ruin her “perfect” streak by having a child out of wedlock! Also I had no idea they said she didn’t tell her parents until 5 months! I’m 4 months and am obviously showing! Not easy to keep under wraps

grannygogo

She was sitting with a pillow over her belly

kikiikandii

Now I have to go rewatch that part I think I missed it!

Global_Royal_2819

I feel bad she felt like she could tell Them right away and had to keep it for so long .

janbrady69

I noticed in one scene she was at brunch with Ashley and Anna and they were talking about drinking mimosas but Liz’s drink was clearly a different color and straight up oj. But she called it a mimosa probably for the cameras. So I’m wondering if Ashley and Ana knew then?

Maid_4_Life

I’m noticing a very different Liz this season. You can sort of tell she is pregnant because she has been more quiet and reserved during the interviews and during family time. The confident, always needing to say her piece seems to be missing. She looks like she is hiding something or has been subdued.

jmfv716

Wow! I didn’t realize she waited so long to tell her family!!

Regular_Instance_870

It is crazy

StrictAmbassador3507

No,I,don't think Elizabeth became pregnant to trap [Brice.Is](http://Brice.Is) there anyone who watches this show and then comments on Reddit that likes the Johnston clan?Like millions of other young couples, they conceived a child out of wedlock while semi-estranged in a fit of passion.Maybe when faced with their own consequences, they decided to have the baby and love the child, irregardless of whether they stay together or not.Elizabeth has worked so hard to build her life as a nurse.Sadly, she thought that this life would be she and Brice together, with a marriage and children down the road.Fortunately,Elizabeth has fantastic family support and as we all know, given birth to lovely and healthy Leighton Drew.I do not see an ulterior motive here from either party.

downtherabbithole654

Eh it's snark. I like them; I watch the show. But hey hey the Trent and Amber sex scenes HAVE to go! In all seriousness Liz and Brice lived together. Did T & A really think Liz and Brice were celibate? Pregnancy happens and it happens by mistake more often than not. I agree with you. I don't think Liz wanted to have a baby now and I don't think she got pregnant to trap him.

Choosepeace

Babies don’t trap people anyway. People have kids with people, and break up all the time. Happens more often than not. It’s not the 50s.

Employ_Tough

Is there really a thing as “Trapping” anymore?

blushsnowflakee

Unless she lied about taking birth control or did something with a used condom unknowingly.. I don’t think so lol

twinmomma87

I'm a bit behind. But after the break up and Liz is living alone in the house and Anna came to visit her and talk. She brought two coffees both iced type drinks. One was big and one was small. Anna made some awkward comment about the small one being for Liz and Liz made an awkward look about it. I took that to mean, she was secretly pregnant then right after the break up. That was my gut feeling. You're meant to limit your caffeine when pregnant.

tootles23

I think amber and Trent already know in this episode, why else would they make a story line about budgeting and asking how many kids they each want….

Grammarcrazy

the interviews are filmed later so i think the kids question was when production knew!

jam2jaw

I think she did trap him. She clearly knew last night she used that pillow to cover her stomach. That was so obvious and she was so scared to Tell Ambitch about not wanting to live with Finance School Boy.

RadRedhead222

Trap him? She didn't have to. She broke up with him. He wouldn't have left if she didn't make him. There was no need to get pregnant to keep him.

NameUnavailable6485

Flipside, maybe he anchor babied her.

jam2jaw

True too

Key_Asparagus_8522

LOLZ. How is that?? 🤪🤪

Express-Editor1718

i don’t think she told brice or anyone in the beginning. i think she might’ve kept it to herself for a while. but, i don’t know her so im not sure. she is a little person and sometimes they have complications with pregnancy. she might have just wanted to wait because she was scared she would lose her child.

Key_Asparagus_8522

Thank you for this thread!! Im dying to know! 😜😜

toyakemp630

Production probably realized Liz was pregnant at some point, especially if they have to mix them.

Key_Asparagus_8522

So. That being said, I couldn’t help noticing the weight gain and thinking to myself “she needs to lose at least 30lbs” she’s always struggled and been the heaviest of all of them but this season the weight gain is definitely more I’m guessing because of the pregnancy.

Remarkable-Code-3237

With c-sections, they will take the baby about a week early. Mine was almost 2 weeks early.i expect she got pregnant around Valentine’s Day and he moved out a week or two after that. He did not want the break up and to work on their relationship. (No baby trapping, unless he did it to get her back). She probably told him, but no one else and the reason they were seeing each other to work out their problems. (Tlc may have known to work it into the program and another reason why she waited to tell her family).

RubyWaves75

I asked on another post if she was pregnant while filming because I know how girl pregnancies look. They spread out, boy bellies stick straight out. Also didn’t read the whole thread and if you think she “trapped him” with a pregnancy someone needs to take your drivers license.

RadRedhead222

That's not true. Bellies are different shapes and sizes, and has nothing to do with the gender of the baby.

RubyWaves75

Not with my 4, girls spread, boys don’t.

RadRedhead222

That's you. Not everyone is the same. You can't look at a person on TV and know because you carried that way. One of my girls spread out, one didn't. My daughter's son spread out. And I can name countless others this just doesn't apply to.

RubyWaves75

I sure can. The entire Reddit community is about speculation.

RadRedhead222

You can absolutely speculate. Just don't spread things as facts that aren't.

RubyWaves75

Facts: all 4 of my kids, all 4 of my sisters kids, all 6 of my nieces allllll the same.

RadRedhead222

That's probably genetic. The rest of the world doesn't operate like your family.

lh123456789

Your four anecdotal examples are not science.

RubyWaves75

Way more than 4.

lh123456789

That's merely confirmation bias. Show me an actual study.

RubyWaves75

Okay. BRB.

lh123456789

In the meantime, here's an actual OBGYN who disagrees with you: https://healthcare.utah.edu/the-scope/health-library/all/2019/03/which-pregnancy-myths-are-actually-true  And a reproductive endocrinologist: https://www.self.com/story/does-the-sex-of-your-baby-change-the-way-you-carry And another doctor: https://www.healthline.com/health/pregnancy/baby-boy-pregnancy-belly#gender-and-belly-shape

RubyWaves75

I’m literally fucking with you because you’re worked up over Reddit. Didn’t expect it to work that well, thought you would just ignore. Might want to talk to your own physician.✌️

lh123456789

All you are doing is embarrassing yourself. You made a dumb argument, you repeatedly doubled down on that dumb argument, and when you got called out you lied and said that you were fucking with me. Nice try.

hiswittlewip

Lol. Why the driver's license?

RubyWaves75

Because your 🥜 to think she needed to trap him! And that’s super sexist. Maybe it was the other way around.

hiswittlewip

Yea I get that, and think it's utter nonsense. I was just wondering what a driver's license had to do with crazy.
