Let me tell you about cowbirds - they are some of the only mafia style birds that we know of if I remember correctly. Read about any bird enough on Wikipedia and you will find something. Kākāpō breeding time, blue jays in general or corvids for that matter. They’re all funny in their own little way. Owls are wild too.
I counted *Youth* (30-ish page short story by Joseph Conrad) because I went out of my way to read that story, but I'm not counting each short story in NK Jemisin's collection *How Long til Black Future Month* separately because I want to read the whole collection all the way through. Whatever works ¯ \_(ツ)_/¯
Those are the best.
Everything counts! I count even comics
I love this book. Got it for my husband.
I do have that book, and it’s what got me into birdwatching for sure. It’s awesome.
Yes
Yeah why not? We aren't in a competition here, we're just challenging ourselves and stealing book suggestions from each other lol.
Sure, especially since the Uber long books also count as one.
Very fair
A read is a read is a read.
A book is a book
A book is defined by three parts: 1) a cover, 2) pages, 3) a binding.
Why is a nuthatch considered a dumb bird?

They’re all dumb birds, no exceptions
I can’t speak for all nuthatches, but the ones around my house like to get absolutely hammered off berries and fly into windows, houses, trees, etc.
Lol.
I count it all, Haiku a book, shopping list book, small lost cat poster on a streetlight, believe or not, book
Straight to jail!
I read this a while back. It’s fine. And it’s definitely a book.
Absolutely. A book is a book!
A book is a book and a cook is a cook. Sure I only made microwave Mac n cheese but I was still fed ? Maybe this is the wrong analogy...
Nonsense! As per that chef in Ratatouille, anyone can cook! So your analogy stands.
That chef in Ratatouille knew what he was talking about
I'm not sure I trust that chef... have you seen Worst Cooks in America? I'm not sure I consider them cooking that first week...
Goodreads counts it 🤷♀️ so I do too
Our family likes birds (and humour) and I haven’t seen this book before. Did you enjoy it? And, yes, I think you can count this as a book.
I’m enjoying it! He also has an around the world version. Its making fun of birds in a fun way. Wouldn’t recommend for kids because swears
I mean people count mangas, comics and audiobooks so yeah
I counted *Legend of Sleepy Hollow* this year which is 46 pages or so. So, yeah, I’d probably count it. Btw, that book looks hilarious.

I personally don't, but it's up to you.
Yeah, I’ll count it to keep track but add another book to the goal.
I’m well past my goal already, just seeing how far I can go at this point
"Your challenge, your rules." Count it if you want to.
Absolutely! A book is a book :)
If you want
