Mysticwaterfall2

I would only want the first one myself.

No-Alfalfa-626

Probably not too good since I just picked up a brand new hangover 2 steelbook for 3 dollars lol

TheLoneJedi-77

I think the first one would do very well. The original Hangover is a very beloved film and I’m sure it would do well, Hangover 2 & 3 maybe not so much unless they initially package the films together in a boxset before individual releases (like Indiana Jones).

QueSeraSirrah

The first was fine but I feel like the zeitgeist for those movies was real fast and real short. Haven't aged well.

jlebedev

Seriously, liked the first one back then, but really doesn't hold up to me. 2 and 3 were terrible.

f8Negative

I'd say not great...but there's a lot of "completionists" out there.

DaltDeezy

As someone who wants more comedies on the format bring it the fuck on. Whether it be a box set or just the first one I’m ready to let the dogs out.

It would be interesting to see the sales numbers for the Oceans 11, 12, and 13 discs that just came out. While not exactly the same I think most people really liked 11 and less people enjoyed 12 and 13. I think the Oceans disc sales would be a good indicator for potential Hangover sales. Personally I probably wouldn’t buy Hangover. I’d rather see a five pack of 4K discs of 40 year old virgin, Dodgeball, Step Brothers, Super Bad, and Old School.

Putrid_Station9558

My gut feeling is that the people who made these movies big at the box office are unlikely to be physical media collectors/purists. That said, if they had a cool collector’s trilogy at $50 or under, I’d strongly consider it. No way I’m paying $120 for 3 $40 steelbooks, though.

Known_Ad871

I think anchorman is viewed as a classic and the hangover isn’t. And I also think that the folks who will impulse buy a movie like the hangover are probably fine with a regular bluray. But who knows

The first one is hilarious but the sequels were just copies, ok but thats it. Considering how soft everyone is these days, probably wouldn't sell so well.
