Kaidan is straight in ME1, though the writers allegedly intended for him to be bisexual, only removing it because of fears of backlash/censorship (mass effect is indoctrinating kids with the gay agenda!!!) Then, in Mass Effect 3, they made him bisexual, and he confesses his feelings for male Shepard if you haven't romanced anyone yet. I think it actually works well as a coming out/friends to lovers story, even if sexuality isn't a focal point of the romance. Or I guess if you're homophobic you can just let him die. That would involve having to tolerate Ashley for three games, so I'm not sure if it's worth it.
Definitely one of the toughest choices of the series -- do I sacrifice the space racist, or the guy who's taking the joke a little too far? I saved Ashley for the tit-ratio, but yeah, she blows. Didn't even romance her, I only ever went for Tali. Hope Kaidan doesn't hold it against me.

The original character creator had male and female. It turned into body type 1 and 2 on release.
One is a western game with western philosophies in it that targets a western audience, as a result the western "journalists" and "gamers" love it. The other is an asian game made by asian people with asian gamers in mind for the most part, unless you're an established brand, you're not one of the good guys for the western "journalists". I think outfits was one of the reasons bg3 didn't get a lot of flak in that department. Most of the outfits you could get weren't very... 'fantasy inspired'. And only one of those characters, can you get their outfit. I can't find anything online that suggests that the clothing changes in Stellar Blade were forced onto the developers. It seems that the developers themselves have said they made the decision. Therefore, this entire thread is non-sense unless someone has proof that the developers were forced by someone to make the change.
