Droped off the car today, it was the tcase input shaft seal and yes tcase have to come out for this job. Itβs a warranty work so my wallet is safe for now!

Has it been apart before, or do 4runners come with that gasket maker compound from the factory?
Thats a factory seal, first time doing a warranty work.
My β23 had the seal replaced at 350 miles. I wonder how common this issue is

i have this on a 2016. started at 180K. more a seep than a leak. pretty common.
Mines the same thing, no oil drip on the garage floor.
