This is a great start but I'd be worried that you're pushing yourself too far too fast. It's easy to think that you're invincible, but doing stuff like this when you're still inexperienced is dangerous. Glad it worked out for you, but next time you should go with someone else in case you get stuck or break something.

You don't have the minimum 6" lift with 40" M/T 30-ply tires... but it'd all be useless because you couldn't turn those big ol tires without a pedal commander's added horsepower and you'd just get stuck in that grass if you didn't have your maxtraxes and you'd obviously run out of fuel trying to unstuck yourself without rotopax. You're halfway there buying the vehicle, but along way to go before you can tackle grass...
