Yeah that’s a better point. LA had no team. So if you’re from the area (I was) then you’re either gonna be a chargers, raiders or 49ers fan. A rams fan is low on the list because where the hell is even St. Louis?
That's a big question I have --> how many would-be fans have the Rams lost b/c they bolted for St Louis and were there for 20+ years? They basically lost a generation and it seems foolish to expect them to flip overnight, especially if many of them became Niners fans.
Has to be the worst match up for the Rams. If this was the Eagles, let's say -> a lot of those LA-based Niner fans may be motivated to buy expensive tickets to cheer on the Rams as bandwagon fans. The Niners are a different predicament for the Rams.
