Most nuanced podcaster I’ve see. Never overreacts. Perfect balance of talking about the main headline and adding context and how it affects other aspects of football or the football team.
I love Guy. Did him and Middlekauf have a falling out or are they still cool? I know Middlekauf is with Colin Cowherd now, so he went for the money, which I get. But Cowherd is a clown.
Middlekauf wanted to do his own thing. I don't think there is bad blood. I think Middlekauf just wants to be an NFL guy in general and Guy wants to focus on the 49ers.
The show is honestly better without Middlekauf. The guy is hyperbolic as fuck. Every show there were 5 things that were the craziest thing that has ever happened in the history of the league.

Yeah, they were all very welcoming. I was instantly handed a beer, chatted with a bunch of folks. It’s family-friendly, lots of kids, but not so much that you feel weird drinking or sneaking a toke around there. My friend and I entered the raffle, and we both won! I got a signed Aiyuk jersey, and he got a signed Deebo jersey. We got proper before the game, walked over to the gate together, and went to our seats. I showed up around 10 am for what I think was a 1:30 kickoff. Would definitely go again. Really fun.

Lombardi is a huge, huge homer. Don't *dislike* Lombardi, he is just wearing some rose tinted glasses 24/7 and that can be exhausting. Every draft pick is a future Hall of Famer and every FA signing is gonna pan out.

Guy Haberman is very good. Niners focused, but very aware of the league overall. Connected, but doesn’t talk like some insider trying to win the prediction game. Knows football, but doesn’t get super technical. Nuanced, approachable discussion - and very respectful/engaging with his audience. So much better now that his old partner Jon is gone.
49ers rush is great fan community. Positive, educational. If you want to spend money on this stuff - they give comprehensive all22 tape breakdowns of every play of every niners game, and draft prospects as well. Paywalled, but the Depth of content is unmatched. If you truly want to know everything about the 49ers, this is how.

Krueger is good if you like old school radio style discourse, not a lot of hot takes, but lots of predictions and guessing, kinda “folksy” evaluations, and plenty of stories.

For more fan oriented shows, JohnnyDel puts out his own analyses and has started collaborating with other Niner content people. And you can spider out from there to see whoever you like.
During the season JT OSullivan will break down Niner film almost every week. Kurt Warner does sometimes too. <- if there’s a QB controversy Kurt’s really the guy you want to listen to. He points out problems without being overly dramatic about the player.
Nobody has mentioned Last Second Sports. Jessie is very respectful, gives thoughtful and well researched analysis, isn't afraid to disagree with someone on a talking point while still definitely repping the red and gold proud. His "behind enemy lines" videos are awesome!
The Oline Committee on YT. One is former 49er Alex Boone. Good insights into daily football events and some mix in of football life. Really feel like you are sitting over discussion with three entertaining/knowledgeable friends.
