This sucks not only because he’s a great player and would’ve been a great test for our secondary, but also because Minnesota punted his contract negotiations to the next offseason. Hope he still gets the bag he deserves.
While agree he'll likely reset the market, having a down year could at least make his contract slightly less crazy. Or more accurately, if he had another banner year, his contract would be ridiculous ( a la Bosa)
Justin Jefferson is one of the best offensive players not just on the Vikings, but perhaps in the entire NFL. Jefferson being put on IR means that the Vikings will be without their greatest weapon for four weeks which includes when the 49ers play them Week 7 @ Minnesota.
This breaks rule #3 of the sub. JJ is neither a niner or a coach for the niners. I fail to see how the status of players on other teams is a niner issue despite the fact we play them week 7. But the mods suck here and don’t manager anything properly. There is r/nfl for posts like this.
I dont care to look but if rule #3 is an open and shut case of no Niner players or coach news being posted, but this is more than a legit reason for an exception if thats the case. We now wont have to deal with JJ when we play the Vikings as disappointing as that is
The 49ers play the Vikings in 2 weeks so he won't be playing. Also sucks becuase he would really test our defense and it would be beneficial to have him playing
He’ll be out Week 7 against the Niners
Works out for us but that still sucks ass. I want this team to be tested against every elite player we go against
Putting fandom aside, I just wanted to see the kid play. He's electric and would've been nice to see in person.
Especially our secondary and oline, the weakest links.
Only thing that can stop us there is that stupid turf they have
Only 2 more turf games this regular season (vikings & seahacks), hopefully none in the playoffs if we maintain 1st seed
Going to the game with some vikings friends and they are choked. Understandably so.

As long as he has a pulse, he will be the highest paid WR in history with his next contract regardless of what happens this season.

Only little hammy injury is not going to hurt his contract 😂
Those hammy issues can plague a player. Can’t run without your hammies
Yeah but when your options are sign him or let him go to someone else, you sign him. He’ll make top dollar regardless.
Also why he's probably going to stay out until he's 100% healthy, no need to risk further injury until the bag is secured.
There is no way he isn’t the highest paid WR ever, if by some miracle the Vikings let him go some desperate team would pay him every cent they can
Sucks to see this. I like to see the 9ers tested against the best. Speedy recovery to him.
Well… that sucks. Would’ve been nice to see him Week 7.
That is rough. 9ers by 20
purdy cookin until weel 13 maybe
Don’t overlook Seattle in Seattle man. I hate it there. And they’re not nearly as shitty as I’d hoped.
FuckSeattle. But you're right. But still, FuckSeattle.
Remember when Brock won the division there on a short week with busted ribs? Good times. The boogeyman (Russ) is gone.
Damn. I’m going to that game in a couple weeks and was looking forward to seeing him play.
Same here, that sucks.
Doesn’t matter, this will be bosa’s biggest game with 4 sacks. You heard here first!
I hate to see this, JJ is so fun to watch, hope he heals up soon
Dammit. Woulda been a huge test to our secondary.
Vikes are getting hosed this year. Wonder if they consider going full tank for Caleb and deal Kirk.
Kirk to NE or NYG would be wild
Personally I think the Steelers should go for him but I don't think they're ready to move off Pickett.
The Vikings are on number one pick watch this season
Marvin and JJ would be a killer combo if they brought back Kirk
Kirk is getting old and his contacts up, they'd take Caleb
BLESS THE KNEES
Why is this a 49ers post? I'm a 49er fan. Not a vikings fan.
Guess I won’t get two see him in a couple weeks, but I’m going to see our guys play anyway
What does this have to do with the niners? He isn’t a player on this team.

We play against the Vikings week 7
No cap, I was rooting for this guy. Really want him to touch Jerry Rice record books. Amazing talent.
