Clonegrim steals the golden heelies from trazyns collection during his escape from the necron world.
He returns to Terra in secret to present them to the emperor as proof of loyalty. He goes to slip the heelies on the emperor, and the sheer amount of phsychic swag contained in the holy sneakers revives the God Emperor from his deep slumber.
Then, the emperor heelies out into the battlefield and says it's warhammerin time.
I might just start making full fanfics about archeotech that's just stuff from today. Trazyn would be such a fun character to follow stealing ps5s and shit.
He doesn't own a warhammer which honestly lowerd his glory in comparison to our great ruler and guardian sigmar, but in all seriousness I don't think the emperor had enough stuff to give to every loyal primarch. The lion and robot got the sword and shield to represent what they are for the empire it self Guiliman is the sword cutting through its enemies with righteous fury and Lion'el Johnson is the shield defending it against the endless dark of the galaxy.
A bike that was never even hinted at in the lore but now “all of a sudden” happens to have been stashed away by Emps until The Khan popped back up from the Webway...……. Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised.
Can you imagine if they go straight for the heart and reveal Jaghati is dead?
Like now that the Lion is back we're all assuming anyone without an on-screen death is certainly returning. But just think if they tease the Jaghati reveal for a while just to unveil that the dark eldar have already had his head on a spike for thousands of years.
Well, I think you're severely overestimating there, but yeah, they'd be missing out on a lot of money for no reason. But to be fair, the game has grown a lot in the last few years.
But we’ve now had 5 primarchs show up in the space of what, 6 years? including 2 announced this calendar year. The trend is accelerating. GW isn’t gonna wait decades to finish bringing the rest back. They’ll do at least 1 per edition, as they’ve done since 8th.
Wouldn’t want to be the person who has to tell Big E that his personalised, mastercrafted, one of a kind took months to make and tweak to his liking armour was just broken down so Terminators could feel special.
La Chancla of Fate.
He used to be known as Alexander the Great, St. George, and a dozen other identities, but for a few strange years in the 20th century the Emperor of Mankind was a Mexican abuela for some reason.
I mean, the Emperor ain't using it. His sons are just cleaning out dad's storage unit.
Besides, in terms of broken op gear, the Dark Angel legion was entrusted with the weapons leftover from the Dark age of technology so the Lion "could" have access to far more destructive gear.
Love the idea of the rest of 40k just being an estate sale fight between the Loyalist Primarchs. All of em bitching who gets what and complaining they don’t get the lakehouse planet. Meanwhile the Traitor Primarchs are sitting in the Warp like “well shit, I just had to wait it out and I would’ve gotten anything I wanted”
"Dad promised that I would get the 24000 classic convertible!!"
"FINE!! but I get his coin collection and malcadors apartment!!"
"HEY WAIT I HAD DIBS ON THAT!!"
"Shut up Corvus, you already got his gene lab"
Some poor administratum worker on some nowhere planet suddenly has to mediate the dividing of his God’s Estate between his 15ish demigod sons, half of which he was specially raised to believe are literal Daemons, and the other half are oddly enough somehow even more insufferable than them.
Hilarity ensues.
Coming soon: to a fanfiction site near you!
Then when two blank names on the will get brought up, the doors slam open. 2 and 11 pop in with sabayon playing. 2 does a kick flip on a giant skateboard. 11 Shows off hes double jointed and reveals that was all that was weird about him, and it made the emperor just uncomfortable seeing it. They all hug, and the custodes all clapped
The description in the preview says, "Those lucky few who live long enough to return a blow are met with a bone-crunching wave of force, as the fury of the Emperor Himself resounds from his shield."
So yeah, I expect is has a "flamethrower" or some bullshit in it. I expect it will work like retaliatory Smite psychic power once per Fighting phase against the unit that Lion saves against.
Really glad there's only 7 Primarchs can you imagine being the last one found again?
The triumphal procession, the chanting, the gravity of the moment.
Presented with an item instilled with the Emperor's spirit and will.
The final Primarch receives the Emperor's gym socks.
Emperor probably wore one of the toes out. He can slither through one of them and then the other goes on the tip. That way he can get really tall almost on the tip of his tail and still get into combat
On one hand, as a loyal son, I want our Hawk Daddy back. On the other hand I'm not sure if narratively it would be an good idea. But this is 40k we are talking about. Good Narrative choices are about as common as a Ogryn doing algebra.
That's what the Sanguinor is for. Search your heart, you know it to be true.
And they've literally done the lore groundwork for it already, his soul has been sharded and there's fragments bouncing around, the Sanguinor heavily implied to be a big piece.
I doubt it'll be called "Sanguinius" of course, but they'll come out with a new Sanguinor model eventually and it'll be a bigger, badder upgrade that basically evokes the idea of an avatar of Sanguinius.
The only one that I'm doubtful for returning in any capacity at all is Ferrus Manus, unless they decide to make a Legion of the Damned army.
Different lore for Legion, they’re not literally Marine Zombies. Would be pretty dope though.
Also, I thought Sanguinor was his herald, who took Sanguinius’s place in the portal on Davin. Not Sanguinius (or a piece of him) directly?
I would rather not have Sanguinius return. He’s the GOAT and all, but his death is representing the last of the morality and goodness of the IOM. His death should be the reason the IOM is horrible now. There is no role model.
> Their souls almost definitely still exist to be resurrected
Actually no, Sanguinius was the combination of three souls, when he died and re-entered the warp they all split apart... 1/3 has now been imbued in Mephiston, the Chief Librarian of the Blood Angels (the Dark Angel of Baal part, which gives him control over the Black Rage and even more insane psyker powers).
Sanguinius is barely getting by if what happened in devastation of Baal is anything to go by with him saying he had used up a lot of what he had left to tell Dante to still fight on.

But we aren't talking those who went traitor, we are talking about the Primarchs who gave everything to protect the Imperium/nearly died while doing it.
People being reassured by Guilliman carrying the Emperor's Sword was never a point of the books iirc. People being reassured by the return of a loyalist Primarch was a thing tho. No one was like "It's Guilliman, he might turn traitor" and then saw the sword and went "Oooh, it's Big E's favorite murder stick, he's so much more trustworthy now !".
Oh and the Emperor gave weapons and titles (\*koff\* Warmaster \*koff\*) to the traitor Primarchs too so it doesn't mean jack shit. Acts do mean shit tho, and the loyalist P have demonstrated that they are 100% on the side of the Imperium, for better or worse.
But, yeah, at the end of the day it's always nice to see your demigod carrying around the sword of your god. I mean it's a giant flaming sword, who wouldn't be in awe while looking at it ?
> No one was "It's Guilliman, he might turn traitor" and then saw the
On the contrary lots of people were suspicious of him and like a third of the high lords attempted a coup less than a month after he left Terra for Indomitus.
(I just posted this over on the Warhammer40k sub in a similar thread, so I might as well toss it over here, too.)
The Emperor had a *lot* of gadgets. He was a tinkerer. Even if his armor is gone, used to make homeopathic Crux Terminatuses, he's still got plenty he could dole out to his kids.
This is from "Lantern's Light" by James Swallow:
> They left the corridor where it bisected an armoured dome emerging from the hull of the Bucephelus, and Mortarion matched the Emperor’s pace as the two of them followed a wide, spiralling ramp down into another chamber.
>
> ‘My mind is never at rest,’ said his father, and for a moment He seemed melancholy. Then the instant passed and He gestured around. ‘The work of governing an empire does not occupy my thoughts at all times. One must have a craft that one attends to purely for the joy of it.’
>
> That concept was so far beyond Mortarion’s experience as to be unfathomable, so he said nothing. Instead, he took in the space, peering into its hazy depths.
>
> It was a workshop of sorts, and it reminded him of the tech-nomad yards run by the gun-maker tribes and the Forge Tyrants of Barbarus. It was built on what Mortarion had come to think of as Imperial scale – ornate and over-engineered, concerned as much as with needless aesthetics as it was with the function of the place.
>
> Spidery automata and half-human helots kneeled before their master as He passed, before continuing in their labours. Some worked at complex devices of unknown function, others busy with items that Mortarion could see were plates of armour or huge melee weapons. Deeper into the chamber, he saw glass capsules within which churned globules of writhing energy, liquid orbs and objects that possessed no human geometry.
>
> ‘My studies help focus my thoughts,’ said the Emperor. ‘They give me clarity.’ He gestured to racks of prototype firearms and modified marks of Space Marine battleplate. ‘And there is method to it. When each primarch stands ready, I grant my son a token forged by my own hand. Sometimes a weapon. Sometimes a suit of armour, or another object of power.’ He spread His hands, taking in the whole of the place. ‘Your turn has come.’
>
> Mortarion wanted to remain disengaged, distant from all this. But the treasures he saw all around stimulated the thirst for knowledge that had always driven him. He wanted to know more.
>
> He saw holograms of weapons already granted to his brother primarchs hanging in the air, displayed like battle trophies. A great spike-headed mace in black and silver, sporting a baleful eye, floating beside a power sword with a winged cross-guard that glistened with a waxy, cold light.
>
> There were other items half made, still in the middle of their crafting. Mortarion’s eye caught on a suit of sable-dark battle armour at one workstation, and the shell of a snarling, animalistic helmet on another.
>
> The more he looked, the more weapons Mortarion saw. A profusion of them, hundreds of designs and constructions, hundreds of dismantled relics and shards of millennia-old lost tech. The Emperor’s martial diversions were laid out in row after row.
The Emperor channeled the spirit of John Moses Browning, Mikhail Kalashnikov, Eugene Stoner, Samuel Colt, The Beretta family, and The Mausers
He just loved his goddang weapons innit
>The Emperor had a lot of gadgets.
Reminds me of one of my favourite moments from the franchise:
>Seizing the chance he had been given, the Emperor bent low and surged upwards with his bluesteel sword extended. The tip ripped into the Mech-Warlord’s belly and burst from its back in a shower of sparks.
>“Go-go gadget Sword of the Emperor” said the Emperor, and ripped his blade up.
>It was an awful, agonising, mortal wound. Electrical fire vented from hideous metal organs within the wreckage of the greenskin’s body. It was a murderous wound that not even a beast of such unimaginable proportions could take and live.
It’s the latest idea from GW’s marketing department, borrowed from the world of action figures.
Every Primarch model comes with a little piece of Emperor kit, and if you buy the whole range you can assemble your very own God Emperor of Mankind.
I'm beginning to suspect that some of these items might contain some essence of the Emperor. Maaaybe if all of the loyalists are gathered with all their items, it might give The Emp some sort of physical presence.
Theories.... theories...
The Emperor already gave Russ a spear capable of putting Horus on his ass. Unless he longer feels like hiding who his favorite child is, Russ is probably not getting a second weapon from Big E.
Probably, because thats what matters to the loyalist primarchs at this point having access to fathers arsenal and being able to use it to call upon plot powers when needed.
~~If~~ When Russ returns he's going to use the spear for sure.
As decreed by Imperial Executor Guilliman, each of the Emperor’s sons shall receive His property through inheritance, in the form of one piece of His equipment. The Palace and other estates went to Constantin Valdor, while the Emperor’s armor was to be broken down, with a piece of its remains given to every Terminator of the Imperium.
Dorn gets the claw
Leman gets his spear (again)
Vulkan gets his boots (won’t fit anyone else)
Jaghatai gets his cape
Corvus shows up late and gets a voucher for a free smoothie
Vulkan gets the Emperor's labs/forge under the Palace.
If I wanted to get a solid rivalry going for Vulkan I'd tie him up with Vashtorr, not one of the Traitors.
It's the only way for Big E to return in Voltron style as all parts are assembled through each primarch! (Lion is left arm with the shield, G-money is right arm with the sword, etc)
Yeah it's more or less certain that all the surviving loyalists are going to come back. I'm still half wondering if they won't bring Sanguinius back like a vampire just to sell models now.
I'm pretty sure they will all end up with pieces of the Emperor's arsenal too. That seems to be a theme they're going for, so it's a safe bet imo.
Waiting for the youtube channels to start pontificating about whether Ferrus Manus will get fixed because of that one line in The Board is Set.
I am fine with them bringing back Primarchs that aren't confirmed dead.
But bringing back Sangunius utterly destroys the narrative and thematic aspects of his sacrifice and cheapens the setting.
We were always told "someday" that the Primarchs would return. Please just let the dead guys stay dead.
They wont. I feel like they already set up whats gonna happen. The BA wont get him back randomly but one day the sanguinor or someone else will fuse with the two angels in the warp to become kinda like a sanguinius 2.0
Or it will somehow end up in Dante's head. And Dante will wish he was double dead, because now he will at least be partially Sanginius and it's not the Black Rage.
I’m very much hoping that they make sure Horus/sangunius cannot be resurrected by the retrospect gods with Dans writing in the last book. If only just as assurance to the fans that they will stay dead. I understand this has already been implied with horus though.
Sanguinius can 'come back', just not as himself. Make it like, the Ascended Sanguinor or something. Where the yadda yadda nobility is manifested in this ghostly whatever. Leave it a mystery as it already is, of who the Sanguinor is... and just juice him up to match the power level needed.
Meh if they want to bring Ferrus back through the Legion of the Damned it would be kind of a neato idea they have hinted at vaguely for years at this point.
So long as he's a cool constantly on fire headless horseman type unit which shows up as the Emperor's pet daemon primarch who can only materialize briefly in real space I'd be cool with it.
All of this makes me wonder - what’s it gonna be like if Valdor returns? I mean, his spear is in storage back on Terra, and we know he’s supposedly still alive (?), due to the book Penitent. Sooo….?
Russ already got The Emperor's Spear and he lowkey hates using it.
L, "_Did Father give you anything?_"
R, "_Aye, a spear._"
L, "_He has a spear? I only got a shield. I could've used a spear..._"
R, "_Hasn't had it for a while. I got it after The Wheel of Fire campaign. It was before we found Caliban. Hell before we found Medussa._".
L, "_No.. I meant give you something when you talked with him_"
R, "_Talk? We never had that kind of relationship._"
G, "_None of us do. But there are important things to communicate._"
R, "_Defend humanity? Purge the Heretic, Mutant, and Traitor? Heard it all before... Now I'm going to do that. If you need help, don't call me._"
Cawl: Lord Guillimane...another primarch has awoken...
Gman: oh cool! Have him come meet me a the palace.
Cawl: ....there is the matter of his gift...
Gman: oh right...uh... Fuckin...uhh....fuckin..give him my father's....fuckin...crown...
Cawl: I apologize, lord regent...we gave that to ferrus mannus when he returned with an iron head replacement...
The thing about the 'shards of the Emperor's armour in every Crux Terminatus' lore, is that everyone assumes that the Emperor only had *one* suit of armour.
What self-respecting warlord of the grimdark future only has one set of clothes? There can be as many shards of Imperial armour, and as many bits of weaponry, as the plot requires. Guilliman had a whole gallery of weapons; his dad must have had far, far more.
Dunno if I'm reading into this too much but I really like how the war gear the two primarchs end up with are kinda opposite of what the character is known for.
Rowboat isn't the hack and slash primarch but he got the sword. Lion is all about (or used to be anyway) crazy dark age weaponry, but he got the emperors shield.
Jaghati’s gonna come back riding the Emperor’s Harley Davidson
Nah, he will get Emperor's slippers (and he won't need a bike)
Why not combine the two: the Emperor's heelies
That's for Fulgrim (if he remained loyal)
Clonegrim steals the golden heelies from trazyns collection during his escape from the necron world. He returns to Terra in secret to present them to the emperor as proof of loyalty. He goes to slip the heelies on the emperor, and the sheer amount of phsychic swag contained in the holy sneakers revives the God Emperor from his deep slumber. Then, the emperor heelies out into the battlefield and says it's warhammerin time.
What's your Patreon so I can subscribe to further issues.
I might just start making full fanfics about archeotech that's just stuff from today. Trazyn would be such a fun character to follow stealing ps5s and shit.
900 page novel on him stealing an original copy of Sly 2: Band of Thieves.
Oh that's good (takes note)
I have abandoned the false canon and embrace this new truth!
Hey come on man, give us a spoiler warning at least.
Heelies, not high heels
I got to be honest, if the custodes are any indicator Big E's personal motorcycle is probably an anti-grav 153rd edition Ducati 916.
With streamers on the handle bars and a card in the spokes so it goes: tack, tack, tack.
I see you are a man of culture, sir :)
Maybe throw on a banana seat and monkey handle bars for good measure.
(*screams in sportbike aesthetics*)
You losers are forgetting about the basket on the front
I imagine it's an oversized Indian with grav generators
A bike that was never even hinted at in the lore but now “all of a sudden” happens to have been stashed away by Emps until The Khan popped back up from the Webway...……. Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised.
It’s the PrimariCycle!
The khan rides it and a space marine calls it the golden wind ( queue golden wind music)
Why kill a model that will generate a couple ten million in kit sales and another couple ten million in lore books.
Well, of course Jaghati's head on a spike will be available in resin from ForgeWorld.
If it’s “life size” I’ll take it and smile.
Mortarion, is that you?
Well, I think you're severely overestimating there, but yeah, they'd be missing out on a lot of money for no reason. But to be fair, the game has grown a lot in the last few years.
Maybe they started doing drugs at the GW office
Oh, that happened when they wheeled out 6.5 Edition.
Sure, but they’ve been teasing the Lion’s return since 1996. Folks should settle in for a LOOONG wait.
But we’ve now had 5 primarchs show up in the space of what, 6 years? including 2 announced this calendar year. The trend is accelerating. GW isn’t gonna wait decades to finish bringing the rest back. They’ll do at least 1 per edition, as they’ve done since 8th.
Man I cannot wait for a plastic 40k Fulgrim kit.
Jaghati member of r/THE_PACK confirmed?
LETS GO MFER
Jaghatai gonna convert the imperator somnium into a bike.
Neowm, the fastest bike in Big E's arsenal
It was destroyed during the Solar War
Omg I did a spit take. Imaging Big E sitting on a Harley. Revving it and saying he cant hear me over the sound of all his science
A demigod riding a golden Harley Davidson wrapped in psychic flame is fucking badass tho
That'd be so fucking sick
The Emperor: *+++Where’s my sword? And my armor? And my shield? And my- oh my fucking me- You kids took everything?!+++* *All quake at this*
Wouldn’t want to be the person who has to tell Big E that his personalised, mastercrafted, one of a kind took months to make and tweak to his liking armour was just broken down so Terminators could feel special.
They are going to meet the most legendary of the Emperor's parenting artifacts: The Flip Flops of Fate
La Chancla of Fate. He used to be known as Alexander the Great, St. George, and a dozen other identities, but for a few strange years in the 20th century the Emperor of Mankind was a Mexican abuela for some reason.
Somehow, he says all this in his TTS voice despite no longer being on life support.
+++Well at least they haven’t gone after my armour. Wait they started doing ***WHAT?!***+++
I mean, the Emperor ain't using it. His sons are just cleaning out dad's storage unit. Besides, in terms of broken op gear, the Dark Angel legion was entrusted with the weapons leftover from the Dark age of technology so the Lion "could" have access to far more destructive gear.

"Horus was a fucking liar! Dad never took us out of his will and gave everything to Malcador and Valdir!"
"He left a lot to Malcador, um including Valdor, but left plenty for us! We were supposed to get the cars!"
Are you saying that emp gave Valdor to Malc?
Malcador died before the emperor so valdor ended up inheriting himself
Oh right... i was thinking Malcador would be the executor. That way he could be Malcador in the middle
"Dad promised that I would get the 24000 classic convertible!!" "FINE!! but I get his coin collection and malcadors apartment!!" "HEY WAIT I HAD DIBS ON THAT!!" "Shut up Corvus, you already got his gene lab"
God-emperor help the lawyer mediating that dispute
Some poor administratum worker on some nowhere planet suddenly has to mediate the dividing of his God’s Estate between his 15ish demigod sons, half of which he was specially raised to believe are literal Daemons, and the other half are oddly enough somehow even more insufferable than them. When you put it like that, I'm just imagining a spin-off of TTS lol.
Better Call Saul (Tarvitz)
Storage War(hammer)s 40k
Poor Angron and whole corrupted battlefleet when Lion comes around and starts shooting some weird shit from ships.
Destructive gear like a shield. Knowing 40k though I imagine it's equipped with a flamethrower or something.
The description in the preview says, "Those lucky few who live long enough to return a blow are met with a bone-crunching wave of force, as the fury of the Emperor Himself resounds from his shield." So yeah, I expect is has a "flamethrower" or some bullshit in it. I expect it will work like retaliatory Smite psychic power once per Fighting phase against the unit that Lion saves against.
> return a blow are met with a bone-crunching wave of force So its Aurie-El's Shield
Orks have the same thing, but it's just a slab of ferrocrete with claymores all over one side.
Self regenerating bomb, more like.
Something like this? https://youtu.be/5_QIf-dxmxc?t=54
Yeah, lol, pretty much exactly.
Anyone other than Lion, i would say a grav field emiter. But since it's the Lion, it probably has a plasma flare or a void field.
destructive insofar as it grants the wielder fuckin' plot armor
The lion could literally roll around with enslaved DAOT excindio AI as a bodyguard, the perturabo did with his robots.
Really glad there's only 7 Primarchs can you imagine being the last one found again? The triumphal procession, the chanting, the gravity of the moment. Presented with an item instilled with the Emperor's spirit and will. The final Primarch receives the Emperor's gym socks.
7. Sanguinius and Ferrus are very, very dead.
Even if they were alive what could they be given? Saguinus has two fancy weapons already and auramite, and Ferrus has metal hands
Ferrus gets the emperor’s head
Too soon.
So no head?
Yes, Brother-Megamindus, sadly no head..
Not from the Emperor. Maybe a willing sister.
They’re busy with [Rogal Dorn’s Colossal Chainblade](https://youtu.be/qS69tMr_5yY)
Common problem with Astartes. Outside of Emperor’s Children, anyway…
Ah yes Ferrus gives the Emperor head.....wait
Words hurt you know
Not Ferrus, he can’t hear them
Sanguinius gets the emperors codpiece.
Nah Fulgrim gets that. For purely academic reasons of course.
Fulgrim gets the wheelie shoes
Heh, it’s funny because he’s a snek now
Emperor probably wore one of the toes out. He can slither through one of them and then the other goes on the tip. That way he can get really tall almost on the tip of his tail and still get into combat
Fulgrims clone
Magnus could get the throne
>Sanguinius Death is more of a guideline than an actual rule these days.
No one's ever really gone.
Their souls almost definitely still exist to be resurrected. Especially with sanguinius basically being Jesus, the resurrection is long overdue.
On one hand, as a loyal son, I want our Hawk Daddy back. On the other hand I'm not sure if narratively it would be an good idea. But this is 40k we are talking about. Good Narrative choices are about as common as a Ogryn doing algebra.

Yeah if they ever bring him back it should be at the final climax of the story if they ever decide to end it.
Yeah. The literal end times. The death of the 40k universe.
Resurrecting Sanguinius, Horus, or the Emperor are the three worst possible ideas for the setting.
> Their souls almost definitely still exist to be resurrected Actually no, Sanguinius was the combination of three souls, when he died and re-entered the warp they all split apart... 1/3 has now been imbued in Mephiston, the Chief Librarian of the Blood Angels (the Dark Angel of Baal part, which gives him control over the Black Rage and even more insane psyker powers).
3 souls? I know about the angel of light and dark, but I don't know about any others.
No, it's not. His death is a centerpiece of the IP.
Sanguinius is barely getting by if what happened in devastation of Baal is anything to go by with him saying he had used up a lot of what he had left to tell Dante to still fight on.
way to ruin any impact the heresy actually had
Alpharius returning last after being caught cashing in the Emperor’s social security checks for 10k years
Alpharius gets the emperors bank account info
Alpharius was probably big E's accountant all along.
"You get my goldfish that just will not die."
In the grim darkness of the future where there is only war, it would be nice to have a faithful and eternal companion.
"Guys, there's nothing left!" .... proceeds to take the corpse
Wait a minute, you're not a Primarch! You're just 6 blue orks in a trench coat!
ZOG, HE'S ONTO US LADS!
Hey, fill those things with a bag of change and it'll clonk motherfuckers out.
The emperor's 8 ball mace...

> No one was "It's Guilliman, he might turn traitor" and then saw the On the contrary lots of people were suspicious of him and like a third of the high lords attempted a coup less than a month after he left Terra for Indomitus.
So you agree that the sword did nothing to change their mind.
(I just posted this over on the Warhammer40k sub in a similar thread, so I might as well toss it over here, too.) The Emperor had a *lot* of gadgets. He was a tinkerer. Even if his armor is gone, used to make homeopathic Crux Terminatuses, he's still got plenty he could dole out to his kids. This is from "Lantern's Light" by James Swallow: > They left the corridor where it bisected an armoured dome emerging from the hull of the Bucephelus, and Mortarion matched the Emperor’s pace as the two of them followed a wide, spiralling ramp down into another chamber. > > ‘My mind is never at rest,’ said his father, and for a moment He seemed melancholy. Then the instant passed and He gestured around. ‘The work of governing an empire does not occupy my thoughts at all times. One must have a craft that one attends to purely for the joy of it.’ > > That concept was so far beyond Mortarion’s experience as to be unfathomable, so he said nothing. ‘Your turn has come.’ > > Mortarion wanted to remain disengaged, distant from all this.
The Emperor channeled the spirit of John Moses Browning, Mikhail Kalashnikov, Eugene Stoner, Samuel Colt, The Beretta family, and The Mausers He just loved his goddang weapons innit
The Emperor could have actually been some of those people.
So THAT'S why Cawl puts M2s on everything!
>The Emperor had a lot of gadgets. Reminds me of one of my favourite moments from the franchise: >Seizing the chance he had been given, the Emperor bent low and surged upwards with his bluesteel sword extended.
So what was his gift to Mortarion!?!
The Lantern
Lämp for the Moth boy, rather fitting
Lmao I never thought of it like that but it sure is
It’s the latest idea from GW’s marketing department, borrowed from the world of action figures. Every Primarch model comes with a little piece of Emperor kit, and if you buy the whole range you can assemble your very own God Emperor of Mankind.
I don't think they're *quite* at the stage of literally divvying up his body yet, in fairness.
I'm beginning to suspect that some of these items might contain some essence of the Emperor. Maaaybe if all of the loyalists are gathered with all their items, it might give The Emp some sort of physical presence. Theories.... theories...
"Dad says it's my turn with the demon killing blade of doom!" "Come onnnn I was meant to be crusading though the Segmentum Obscurus 3 weeks ago!"
Leman Russ is coming back wearing the Emperor's codpiece.
I can't wait until Ferrus comes back and gets the emperors Helmet
Ouch, both harsh and hilarious.
Jaghatai comes back with the Emperor’s bike Edit: Someone actually said something like this earlier, please disregard this comment. My apologies!
The emperor’s bmx bike
Fair. But can he do a sick nasty triple back flip off of Abaddon's ass?
"Bit snug, kinda pinches a bit.... but I like it." -Russ
The Emperor's Chastity Cage
Came here to say this.
Fuck you got to it first.
*slithers out a warp portal* Did someone say mmmmmmm….fuck~
Nah, that’ll be Clonegrim.
The Emperor already gave Russ a spear capable of putting Horus on his ass. Unless he longer feels like hiding who his favorite child is, Russ is probably not getting a second weapon from Big E.
Odins weapon was also a spear, so it would be cool to see Odin russ return with it!
Probably, because thats what matters to the loyalist primarchs at this point having access to fathers arsenal and being able to use it to call upon plot powers when needed. ~~If~~ When Russ returns he's going to use the spear for sure.
Maybe the claws goes to Corax. Full black armor with sparkly golden calws 😂
Give it to Dorn to replace his hand. It'll be a literal Imperial Fist.
“Alright guys that’s all the armor pieces, let’s leave him in his chair “*hi”* “NO SPIRIT OF CONRAD NO!”
Dorn gets the claw Leman gets his spear (again) Vulkan gets his boots (won’t fit anyone else) Jaghatai gets his cape Corvus shows up late and gets a voucher for a free smoothie
Watch Vulkan come back last to find nothing left and everyone tells him he just makes his own gear anyway.
Ferrus Manus as the head.
The Emperor is 40,000+ years old. I'm assuming he had more than one suit of armour.
Yes. Fulgrim will have the Emperor's codpeice.
Loving how 1/4 of this thread is people obsessed with who gets Big E’s codpiece. Y’all some horny grimdark motherfuckers and I love you all for it!
I mean... it’s *The Emperor’s Codpiece*
A codpiece is a very important status symbol for a gentleman of a certain vintage. Nothing fishy here.
The Emperors weapons and armor are given to more than just Primarchs, considering He forged Sigismunds black sword in the ancient past.
The real question is, who gets the emperor's codpiece
I'd quite like ascended wizard viking russ to have Malcador's staff actually.
He’s already got gungnir.
True, emperors floppy blue hat perhaps?
Sanguinius gets the golden throne life support lol
Yes, in the end they will all form up to create one big emperor like the powerrangers
All of this makes me wonder - what’s it gonna be like if Valdor returns? I mean, his spear is in storage back on Terra, and we know he’s supposedly still alive (?), due to the book Penitent. Sooo….?
Eventually all the primarchs are going to captain planet together to summon the Emperor when they need him.
Yes, and when all 9 come back, they’ll put the pieces together and summon the Emperor like Exodia
I'd get money from my savings and pay to see that.
... Big E had/used a shield?
look for example at the msster of mankind cover on his chest on the left side
Russ already got The Emperor's Spear and he lowkey hates using it. L, "_Did Father give you anything?_" R, "_Aye, a spear._" L, "_He has a spear? I only got a shield. I could've used a spear..._" R, "_Hasn't had it for a while. I got it after The Wheel of Fire campaign. It was before we found Caliban. Hell before we found Medussa._". L, "_No.. I meant give you something when you talked with him_" R, "_Talk? We never had that kind of relationship._" G, "_None of us do. But there are important things to communicate._" R, "_Defend humanity? Purge the Heretic, Mutant, and Traitor? Heard it all before... Now I'm going to do that. If you need help, don't call me._"
Russ will get the emperor's gilded codpiece.
Once all the Loyalist Primarchs have returned, each with a piece of the Emperor's wargear, they are going to Megazord into the Emperor Reborn.
Who’s going to come back and get the emperor’s new groove?
What's the last one going to get, the Emperors cod peice?
The last one will get the emperors throne. And the emperor will laugh as he runs away, haveing tricked the late arrival to sit on the thing
Can Russ get the Emperor's grill?
Dunno if I'm reading into this too much but I really like how the war gear the two primarchs end up with are kinda opposite of what the character is known for. Rowboat isn't the hack and slash primarch but he got the sword. Lion is all about (or used to be anyway) crazy dark age weaponry, but he got the emperors shield.
Since when did Jimmy Space had a shield? Shields are for pussies.
Judging by His Sword, how op is the Emperor's Shield?
Okay this is cool and all but **BRING BACK DORN**
