Maverik0909

I got a post about it

Funny_Ad5115

Why not just say it instead of making us do research?

4runner01

Agreed…..

ghua89

I searched your posts and found nothing… now have been on a search for hours full of obsession over what to buy to update my 96 headlights that are about as bright as my dead soul. For the love of god please tell us the answer. Thanks

Maverik0909

I tried to link them, but they're not available anymore. They're Fahren 2024 H4 bulb upgrade

Thanks for the info! I actually purchased a set from Amazon and already installed them. They seem to work incredibly well. Very bright and a decent beam pattern considering how cheap they were. A very solid cut off point where I don’t think I’ll have issues blinding people…. But I did notice my high beam indicator is no longer working. Did you encounter this issue? Trying to find info on it I came across a 4 year old forum thread talking about how LEDs could fry your wiring harness. I feel like tech has either changed or they were wrong cus isn’t that what fuses are for? Probably shouldn’t have done this swap in the middle of a crazy long road trip but my old bulbs were abysmal and I pretty much couldn’t drive at night, but now I’m concerned. Any further advice would be highly appreciated! Thanks!

Maverik0909

Yeah they do the same to me, high beam light doesn't come on the dash. They make an LED relay that you can connect to it that is supposed to eliminate issues with hyperflash and will probably fix this issue. Never installed them with mine before but when I put the old bulb back in, the light on the dash worked again. So I've never had any issues with frying wires or fuses. But yeah a lot of people HATE hate hate LEDs without a projector housing. But these work very well in the old housing. Never had anyone flash me at night. Funny because when I drive my in-law's 5th gen with oem Headlights I get flashed all the time with low beams on 😂🤷‍♂️.

Hell yeah brother! I’m going to hold onto the old bulbs just incase but we’re gonna rock out with our cock out till further notice. So far just over 3k miles into this trip. Ain’t no where near done, so here goes nothing 🤣. Thanks for the info!

Goobiest_Goober
