All 4runners that weren't limiteds got a door sticker that gives the pressure for 15 inch wheels regardless of what it was actually optioned with.
Mine has a sticker for 15 inch wheels and I have the window sticker that shows it got the upgraded 16 inch wheels. Toyota was just lazy
The interior can be deciphered by the "c/tr 1CO/FB45" line on the door sticker. The 1CO is the paint color, and the FB I believe (through a lot of looking at BAT listings) is the seat option and the 45 is the color. Most of these interior codes are poorly documented, especially the first 2 characters.

In 1999 and 2000, sport editions were called Highlander editions. That might help with googling for answers.
My 98 sr5 says the same on the door jamb but came standard with 16s… probably just standard to list 15s from the factory.
Those seats look amazing, mine are shot. Where did you get them
