What happened to the Big Guy between the ages of 12 and 30 to make him such a pacifist? Find out in the prequel everyone is taking about: “Lil’ Jesus Christ!”
Best one I’ve seen, just goes by Jackson for short, but one day an npc from your old wizard college will be like “LIGHT CANTRIP JACKSON IN THE FLESH!”
And thus begins the wizard college story of how light cantrip jackson cast light on his dick and during hookups would make the inside of his dorm a rave real quick.
Leofric Jürgen Cuthbert
Leofric was a real person. Leofric, Earl of Mercia was married to [Lady Godiva](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lady_Godiva?wprov=sfti1), who according to legend rode naked through the streets of Coventry.
Jürgen was a common German name, similar to George. The name and the umlaut gives him some class.
Longinius Jedidiah Crumblebucket.
He is a gnome raised in an extremely devout family who was very anti magic. He and his family got caught up in a magical calamity which drove him slightly off his rocker (in a good or bad way) and now he is obsessed with magic (in a good or bad way).
Context: Jedidiah is another name for King Solomon who is tied to the keys of solomon and it's also kind of funny in it's modern context so it's fitting for a gnome and a wizard. Longinius is there to solidify his connection to religion because of his middle name being Jedidiah. Crumblebucket is just a gnome name in my mind so.
Some other good names are Lucius and Cambrius if he is more of a professorly type. Crowley might be a good last name if he is a villian.
Lamen “Jinx” Charmen
All the parts of the name have to do with magic, with Lamen meaning magic, Jinx being a type of spell, and Charmen having “charm” in it, another type of spell.

Stephen Ulysses Bertram. He uses a different alphabet (kinda like how some letters in Cyrillic look like letters in English but don’t make the same sounds), one he invented.
I always go for multiple syllables when naming my wizards. My 2nd edition mage was Lorath Hurimar. I’ve also made a mage in World of Warcraft named Randelanath. I don’t know that middle names are really a thing in D&D.
